A:DR is an action adventure modification for Unreal Tournament 2004 based on the adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. Players will take control of Sonic, unleashing his super sonic speed across several locations, battling numerous enemies and thwarting the plans of the evil Dr Ivo 'Eggman' Robotnik.

- This is a HUGE project and it WILL take along time due to the amount of custom content needed, and creative planning.
- The team will NOT post answers to questions already made. So please check through the comment pages before submitting a question.
- Due to lack of support, the multiplayer modes are on hold until further notice.

Hi everyone,
We're gonna release a SinglePlayer Demo in a couple of months of some of the things we've done. More details about it soon.
These are the code updates since last public news:
- Characters drop rings when hit.
- LightDash from the SonicAdventure series.
- SpinDash & SpinBall from old school Sonic series.
- Full acceleration & decceleration system when running.
- MachSpeed mode with motion blur visual effects...
- Implemented drowning system in water with its frightening music.

Yes there will be a multiplayer. That will come in the next release. When we dont know. I and the team are hoping this will attract level designers to create additional multiplayer maps, and the best designers will get hand picked and approached to see if they want to work on designing maps for the single player stories. The character stories themselves will no doubt be up for download seperately with a patch file so you can access them from the main Singleplayer menu. Not only would this give ADR fans the oppotunity to play the mod sooner, but also they get to choose if they want to play that Characters Story too and not have to download worthless content. As Tim said in a previous post. We are having trouble with web hosting. I hoped it would have been resolved by now but things unexpectedly happen. the website its self is almost complete but the database linkup keeps failing which hampers finishing the site. But rest assured. Even though this Mod is annoying to us due to lack of productivity, we are still eager to see it through till the end.

I think I remeber someone saying that they'll release a MPlayer Pack after they finished...maybe is tails or knuckles for the demo?
NO dude, multiplayer is coming out first. then that will promote the mod some more, THEN hopefully mappers will want to help out to make the singleplayer aspects. so coming out next will either be that update for the demo, or the multiplayer

but seriously tho, you have my word that I will let you know if i ever see somebody steal and post your work. lightdasher said sorry (though, i have no idea who taught him to apologize. they should be hit.) im also betting the rest of us agree with me and remember that that has always been good enough for me. i wasn't the one who stole, nor will i ever, especially from you. I would REALLY love to have the sonic models for normal ut2k4, but o well. i'll live. and i can wait. you Guys get my full support and good luck in the future with everything. also, IF you're gonna keep updating us as of now, could you post a quick update soon, and let us know whats going on? is it currently alive? Thanx.
I'm not sure if this is still true or not, but I remember reading a while ago that after the entire mod is finished... they're going to release plain mods for the regular game. But, I guess we'll just have to wait and see!
Thank you. Also, thanks alot for appologizing offically Lighdasher. We will be keeping the updating up and expect to have something soon since we are already planning for an update. As for the models and such, we on the team hope something like this never happens again. We will become alot more strict when it comes to letting someone onto the team. We do need all the help we need, but we dont need the help from people we cant trust. As mentioned before, we´ve put hell of alot effort into this and we hope that this project will blow your mind when its all done. Im not going to be longsighted about this stealing business. This is my personal opinion so i cant talk for the others on the team. I´ll lets them speak for themselves. Anyway, expect something soon and we hope you´ll enjoy it.
