A:DR is an action adventure modification for Unreal Tournament 2004 based on the adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. Players will take control of Sonic, unleashing his super sonic speed across several locations, battling numerous enemies and thwarting the plans of the evil Dr Ivo 'Eggman' Robotnik.

- This is a HUGE project and it WILL take along time due to the amount of custom content needed, and creative planning.
- The team will NOT post answers to questions already made. So please check through the comment pages before submitting a question.
- Due to lack of support, the multiplayer modes are on hold until further notice.

After months of conceptual talking and "this sounds good, that sounds good", we're finally starting to drag our feet along here. In the past week we've acquired a few new team members, each one playing an important part in developement.
Joining the ranks of the Ashura: Dark Reign team is:
N°tAdmin
Mapper / Cinematics.
Xaklse
Power up Coder.
Digimaks
Concept Artist / Mapper / Staticmesh Modeller.
So getting past the welcoming ceremony: what are we working on?
Well, as of today we have 2 DM maps in the works (Yes, mappage, finally.) And Individual hoverboards are being designed and modelled for the different potential multiplay characters in the mod, Thoguh no work has begun on the Extreme Riders gametype. (Think roadrash with hoverboards. None of this XTREME GEAR LOL crap.) Recently we got our first online playtest of the models (Mostly me getting owned by Dekrayzis) and they work like a charm. No surprise since they work fine in instant action, but it was worth noting.
That's just about all I can say for now. More updates as they merit.

A new thread has been created on our ModDB forums for those who wish to give us some ideas for interaction with objects or the ingame enviroment.
You can post interaction ideas for either gameplay, like moving a lever, or just for pure amusement like throwing a dead rat into a microwave and nuking it. Some examples are given on the thread topic.
We look forward to seeing what you guys can come up with. :)

Damn this got me interested! I used to play Sonic the Hedgehog on Mega Drive when I was little for hours and hours! I do get my MD up and running from time to time for time's sake...
Anyway this looks really promising and can't wait for it to get released. Good luck!
Oh and check your Help Wanted page, as soon as I saw an opening for Concept Artist I got a few heats getting up in me, but got turned off when I saw that there's actually no opening for the job on your site's Jobs section and that there are already 3 (4?) concept artists in the team.
If you STILL need some help, then I'm up for it. If yes, then I'll send you an e-mail with my portofolio and details. If not, then there'll be no hard feelings except for the over-blatant death curses I'll bring upon you :D
