Operation Peacekeeper is a modern warfare modification for the popular game Battlefield 2, based on a fictional developement of the actual Kosovo conflict.
The mod features two different sides - the German Bundeswehr and the Serbian VSCG - engaing in the rough and mountainous terrain of kosovo.
Both use state of the art military weapon systems like the German Leopard 2A6 MBT, as well as older, but yet still effective equipment, like the russian build Mi24V Hind E used by the Serbian forces. For a complete list of the vehicles and weapons just visit the media section of the OPK-homepage.
The maps cover a large array of diferent settings, such as for example a domestic port, a small village somewhere in the mountains, or a military airport attacked by German airborne troops. Each map also covers another aspect of gameplay - some of the maps are rather small and feature intensive close quarter infantry battle, while others take place in more open but still hilly locations which are perfect for tanks supported by helicopters etc.

It´s done, our new armoured reconnaissance vehicle "Fennek" got its camouflage paint. Today we present one of our upcoming highlights in OPK 0.25, the "Fennek".
We presented the basic model some weeks ago. At the moment he gets the correct code an tweaks. In function of a reconnaissance vehicle he will be similiar in service for the german forces like the BRMD2 for serbia. The armament contains a full protected grenademachinegun or MG3 which can both be operated fron the interior. The BF2 radar and the full useable sensorpod are useful features to support the team succesfully with information. The model was developed by Ivan, whereas the skin is the first vehicleskin made by osis. Trahn Lee [EOD] helped us to bring it ingame, Starforce & Nightmare tweaked the code. The sensorpod will get a zoomfunction and can be rotated as well as lifted up and down.

Armament: Grenademachineweapon 40×53mm or 7,62×51 mm MG3 or 12,7×99 mm MG
Crew: 3 (Commandant, driver und service officer)
Climbing power: 60 % max. declination 32 %
Features: four wheel drive, differential lock, tire pressure control, backwardcamera, 5t-cable winch, ABC-protection.
Osis did two other camouflages, too. One for the desert, another for winterscenarios. If and how they will be used isn´t decided yet.
We hope to add another interesting feature to the fennek in one of our next releases. A service, that can be done by the orignal vehicle too. What could it be?

But you get my respect for doing so much quality in such short time.
Other mods are just internal alphas and you got a working thing , bravo!
You don't need a valid cd key to play mods but you do need one to play on the internet. If you recently installed an update and it says this, then you need to reinstall the whole game, and repatch it. I know its painfull but EA is short sighted, and doesn't care about anything but money.

i just download this mod and install it and start playing but then it says failed to load effect:StaticMesh.fx what should i do? i really want play this so somebody help please!!
