Operation Peacekeeper is a modern warfare modification for the popular game Battlefield 2, based on a fictional developement of the actual Kosovo conflict.
The mod features two different sides - the German Bundeswehr and the Serbian VSCG - engaing in the rough and mountainous terrain of kosovo.
Both use state of the art military weapon systems like the German Leopard 2A6 MBT, as well as older, but yet still effective equipment, like the russian build Mi24V Hind E used by the Serbian forces. For a complete list of the vehicles and weapons just visit the media section of the OPK-homepage.
The maps cover a large array of diferent settings, such as for example a domestic port, a small village somewhere in the mountains, or a military airport attacked by German airborne troops. Each map also covers another aspect of gameplay - some of the maps are rather small and feature intensive close quarter infantry battle, while others take place in more open but still hilly locations which are perfect for tanks supported by helicopters etc.

After a short period Turk3y blesses us with fresh
hand grenades. This time we have even three of them coming up: the M18
smoke grenade, the M7A3 CS gas grenade and the M14 phosphorus grenade.
These
tactical tools will clean the way to your goal on the battlefield. Of
course, you can not lable the phosphorus grenade as a tactical tool as
it causes burns to infantry and damages or even destroys vehicles due
to its high-temperature combustion.
Unfortunately, we will not
be able to bring the CS gas grenade and the phosphorus grenade into
action against our worst enemies in the upcoming release, but the smoke
grenade will properly cover your enemies sight by a smoke screen,
hopefully bringing you a decisive advantage...
But enough talk, here are the first renders:
This "toy" was modelled by SirCommandant and Turk3y
had a tough time of it with the skin. Tass created the code while
SirCommandant was also responsible for the effects of the phosphorus
grenade.
At the end we will give you some technical informations about the smoke grenade:
Body: sheet steel with 4 outlets on the top and 1 outlet at the bottom
Filler: approx. 325 gramms of colored smoke mixture
Weight: approx. 540 gramms
Ignition delay: 1.2 to 2 seconds
Duration of smokescreen: 90 seconds max.
Throwing distance: approx. 35 meters

And we had long time ago the german army (Bundeswehr) in Battlefield: Vietnam ;-)
every time i try and play, once it finishes loading the map the game crashes on me.... it looks so good... i want to play it please help me
we have a opk server with privat ranking, so our server is often full. visit us on ur homepage, theres the ip of the opk and the ip´s of aall other bf2 servers too.

Starting with the Bundeswehr eh? Sounds kind of like another BF2 mod out right now :P
We are the first BW-mod on BF2... we had released OPK 0.1 in april 06.
And we added the original BW-content. Including some Equipemnt witch will be in use in the near future.
we have the same Porblem like other mods. People only searchign for stats, and don´t play Mods. After the release ther is action, but after some days it´s quiet.
sad but true.
Where do you come from?
Does anyone else see only unpopulated servers? If not, any idea what I'm doing wrong?

In the next release we support the singleplayer,with vanilla maps from BF2.SP on our costum maps,comes later,cause its alot of work,to implement the bots in our maps.
