Operation Peacekeeper is a modern warfare modification for the popular game Battlefield 2, based on a fictional developement of the actual Kosovo conflict. The mod features two different sides - the German Bundeswehr and the Serbian VSCG - engaing in the rough and mountainous terrain of Kosovo. Both use state of the art military weapon systems like the German Leopard 2A6 MBT, as well as older, but yet still effective equipment, like the russian build Mi24V Hind E used by the Serbian forces. The maps cover a large array of different settings, such as for example a domestic port, a small village, or a military airport attacked by German airborne troops.
The LMG72 was announced a long time ago with some renderpictures. After we passed some problems with inlcuding this toy we managed to give it the last finish.

We hope that we can start a big test with some clans in the next week. At the moment we´re testing the first internal "releasecandidate" to detect the last major bugs.
The 0.25 will be ready for delivery to you in the next few weeks. Although the summer is inviting us to go swimming or to spend a relaxed barbecue evening with some friends ;-) we always get back to our PCs and complete the 0.25.
Nervertheless developing still continues and over Pentecost the major problems should be solved. In the following we are looking forward to your feature requests and wishes. And be assured: the 0.25 will contain some surprises for you.
New to the team are the modler Purzel, who will support the team with creating new statics and Praedator who will be betatester and movie maker. Probably we can watch a clip made by him pretty soon.

thats a really sexy looking RPK, only complaint is the textures could use a little work.
Nice model, great work.
Hi this gun is definately no RPK!
It is manufactured by Zastava Arms and is a rebuild under license of the russian RPK. ;-)
