Operation Peacekeeper is a modern warfare modification for the popular game Battlefield 2, based on a fictional developement of the actual Kosovo conflict. The mod features two different sides - the German Bundeswehr and the Serbian VSCG - engaing in the rough and mountainous terrain of Kosovo. Both use state of the art military weapon systems like the German Leopard 2A6 MBT, as well as older, but yet still effective equipment, like the russian build Mi24V Hind E used by the Serbian forces. The maps cover a large array of different settings, such as for example a domestic port, a small village, or a military airport attacked by German airborne troops.
The new guns are ready to play. They will upgrade our kitsystem with a new machinegunnerclass for 0.25. Today we can show you some ingame screenshots of the HK MG4.

You already saw the renders, some of you detected the first screen in our mediasection some weeks ago. It will be easier to handle as the older and heavier MG3, which will be moved into the upgradekit. The new MG4 is easier to handle in proned or standing positions. I will fill up a gap in the german kitystem, the LMG72 will do the same job for the serbian forces. To create a good balacing between the kits in OPK, we will use a MG4 with reddot as basic kit.
But sure it´s possilbe that we will hide the second version (with a scope) as an easteregg... We still are working on OPK 0.25. Sad but true, there were some issues in last internal version. But we really looking forward to get a great release soon! So far we say goodbye with this update. Your OPK-Team!
