The Awakening is an immersive 3rd-person cooperative multiplayer experience that combines suspenseful action with nerve-wracking strategy. Players must coordinate their efforts against a common foe, instead of competing against each other, if they hope to survive. This combined with a compelling storyline will serve to bring together a tight-knit and dedicated online community.
Players take on the roles of civilians who have survived the initial zombie infestation and banded together to form a resistance group. Together, they must rely on their ingenuity and the sparse resources that are available to hold off hordes of enemies and look for a possible escape route from the city. Every day is a struggle to survive -- and every night is a showdown against seemingly impossible odds.

I just tried this mod, great work. I couldn't get through the intro sequence though, it was a little buggy. You really need to give the player more time to familiarize himself with is surroundings before dumping the zombies on him, and four doors to barricade are way too much for just one player, and the barricades don't last long anyway.
Anyone know the status of this mod? Their forums are down and the website hasn't been updated in a few months. It'd be sad to see this mod die after so much work was put into it.
It'd be interesting to see what they could do with the UT2007 engine, though.
