It started with the Twin Towers…
Their burning shells emitting people to their deaths and seizing the Yankee spirit, never relenting. That morning set in motion many more conflicts, bloodshed, and ultimately reformed the modern world. First later that year, with a strike in Afghanistan, followed by struggles in Iraq during 2003 and onwards. Nearly a decade later, the strain on the western people, finances, and foreign relations forced the West to release their War on Terror and head homewards. The only lasting effect was the reinforcement of the theocracies there and building the resentment of the Western world even higher. Cultivating in the formation of a theocratic super nation with immense resources, and a rapidly growing armed force that was an improvement on the inefficient, though determined jihadists only a few years ago. During this time however, the Far East did much besides twiddle their thumbs in this mad dance of chaos. After North Korea tested their missile and nuclear capability in 2005, she quickly grafted onto China and once being secured under its wing, the two nations jointly “recommended” to Japan that she must also join, for at least her financial status would be a great asset. They were known as the 3A for short, and continued to carve out their sphere of influences around Asia. Things began to build up then even higher, like a soda can being shaken uncontrollably. It was only a matter of time until it exploded its contents everywhere, despite international meetings and false treaties declaring peace, with the players operating on plastered smiles and misleading information. It finally burst on March 21st 2025, almost eighteen years since the inauguration of the global crisis that had escalated to this point…America was invaded. Not a minor invasion or attack, like Pearl Harbor decades ago, but with huge losses and casualties for the red, white, and blue. With North Korean missiles enhanced by Chinese tanks and naval support, followed with a MELA attack on the eastern and southern areas of the nation, through Mexico and the sea. The response of the overbloated democracy was slow, and her citizens paid dearly. No more were the car bombings of the first years of the century, but tanks, infantry, and technicals ran through the land of the free, pushing the Americans back to a few key places, namely San Francisco, Chicago, and Dallas. These key places housed many important technical experiments, like the Ion Blast, with the Electro Wave and the Future Combat Warrior program. The Ion Blast was designed to be a small probe that unleashed a terrific amount of energy in a small area, about a quarter of a mile in its diameter. The Electro wave was similar, but it unleashed an EMP blast that knocked out radio and electrical communications for a few miles, enabling the freedom fighters of the West to capture Chinese and Arab vehicles, and giving them a more even battleground to stand on. Finally, the best of them all, the Future Combat Warrior, a strict discipline developed after the failure across the world in the Middle East. It enabled those trained in it to quickly and effectively disable and neutralize a size much greater than its own. Imagine a modern Spartan equivalent if you will. Each of these treasures were housed in those cities, but the elusive rebels made it difficult to pinpoint where exactly their labs were and any stolen or captured equipment of theirs were remotely detonated. While America was fighting the underground war against her intrusive outsiders, NATO had its own struggles. At the same time MELA and 3A combined to invade America, they made another joint effort to invade Europe from the East, swallowing up Russia, and other Eastern Bloc countries with ease, facing harsh resistance in Poland and Turkey, stopping them for the moment. Unable to enter china from land or sea, and with air attacks quickly rising in the losses, NATO resorted to going through Thailand, where more resistance was mounted from the communist neighbors to the north. Luckily, this was a war that involved very little except of the contributing powers land and might, for India, Australia, Canada, and most of Africa being left out of this conflict in peace. It is comparable to how a kid will choose ice cream, they will go for the most appealing, or largest one, In the same way, China and MELA were concentrating on their largest hurdles and most profitable sections first, and going for seconds at another time. Strangely enough, the South/Central American nations banded together during these dark times, and created a marketplace where all the large players could shop in order to get the biggest edge over its competitors. From morphine, to a pack of cards, and even through passage rights, it was given to all of them, but some had a much heftier price than others. Be it a survival mechanism, or its own way to win this conflict, the Americas knew trade for centuries, and applying what they knew best in any great times of opportunity. Now it is 2031. Not much has changed in Earth’s greatest war, except the boundaries have not changed much, each side holding enough power and ferocity to be unassimilated or conquered by its foe. Six long years have proved fruitless and it seems that this struggle will continue endlessly without either side prevailing.

Not that I'm insulting this mod or anything but, What's the point the game takes place in the year 2142 and you're pushing it back to the 21st century going BACKWARDS in time if you didn't realise that. This would be a great mod for Battlefield 2 though.

Uh but the XM8 might be revived. It said so on wikipedia. Even if it was canceled it would be fun to use it in a mod. Plus im looking forward to this mod because it sounds cool. Hope it comes out.

That is a huge chunk of text that I'm never going to read. Break it down into paragraps to make it easier to read.
