After a long, bloody war in the Sudan, the governments of the United States and Russia struck an uneasy cease-fire over the fate of Africa and its burgeoning industry. This peace would be short lived, for to the north a new conflict was brewing. Ukraine, a former satellite state of the Soviet Union, sought to gain back the power from which it once reveled in. As the snow fell in a heavy midwinter storm, Ukrainian troops moved towards the border of Belarus. Without warning, Ukrainian troops attacked with a speed and effectiveness not seen since the blitzkrieg of WWII.

Since the Ukrainian team is able to enjoy shooting down aircraft with the Zu-23 we figured the German & USA team should have something that they can use to shred aircraft as they attempt to be the war jockey of the battlefield! For those that have been part of the community since POE:1, please put your hands together and welcome back the M-167 VADS. Even though it has been retired from active service in the US military we wanted to bring it back in “POE” time so that American team has something to play with!

So if the Ukraine team has the Zu-23, the Americans have the M-167, what should the German team have? How about a 20mm Flack gun called the Fk20. From what we’ve been able to research this weapon is no longer on active service like the M-167 but we couldn’t pass it up – just had to throw it in the game to scare the pilots away from camping the opponent’s airfields.

superb work on anything really. the models look blizz, the maps are nice, textures are pretty good and it all boils down to being the best BF2 mod I see on Moddb. Don't many people prefer this mod to BF2 already? I gotta try it out, its a good, growing project.

Yes, nice work, pity everyone who posts news on ModDB doesn't get the same treatment, 8 pictures?? Why then did others who had only five on their media release, have their fifth picture deleted? lets have some equality and not favouritism.... mostly likely, this post will be deleted for pointing out this obvious travisty...
