After a long, bloody war in the Sudan, the governments of the United States and Russia struck an uneasy cease-fire over the fate of Africa and its burgeoning industry. This peace would be short lived, for to the north a new conflict was brewing. Ukraine, a former satellite state of the Soviet Union, sought to gain back the power from which it once reveled in. As the snow fell in a heavy midwinter storm, Ukrainian troops moved towards the border of Belarus. Without warning, Ukrainian troops attacked with a speed and effectiveness not seen since the blitzkrieg of WWII.

It?s time to show the community the things that are going on in the POE:2 war front. The team has rallied together to Get R Done. When we say that we are talking about Beta 1 of POE:2. The team has discussed the proper name for our first release and with the amount of work that has gone into it we believe it?s safe to call it Beta 1.0. The testers were just given a hefty new build with a change log 10 pages long. What is amazing is that a lot of work has gone on in the last couple of weeks. Some of our Senior Developers that had been busy with real life stuff have been able to put in some time so that we can get closer to having a release candidate build ready very soon. Our testers are in the midst of checking things out as they just received the build the other day and we will be inviting another large mod team to assist us with the 64 player map testing. Currently we have about 55 tester?s world wide but can?t effectively test the larger scaled maps with out some outside help.

So let?s get to the good part of the news by showing you what has been completed this week. We?ll begin by showing what Devil has been able to do with the Ukrainian made Vepr Assault Rifle with the grenade launcher attached.
