The Game
Inspired by TacticalOps, a game based on Epic's awardwinning UnrealEngine, a group of friends took an ambitious step, creating a sequel to their favorite game on a new level of UnrealTechnology.
Led by the people behind TacticalOps and TOST, backed up by a bunch of artists, modellers, mappers and supporters, the team behind TO: Crossfire pushes the limitations of Epic's Unreal Engine 2.
Facing the choice of bringing terror to the world or fighting it, you will be part of decisive battles at locations you will not forget. Rescue hostages, blow up a building, gain information, assassinate a target - there is a vast variety of possibilities to decide a battle! And thus the assault continues ...

You may consider this a late christmas present, however as we have a long tradition of "when it's done" we'd rather call it an early new years gift.
We have worked hard to remove little annoyances and promote a higher fun factor, made many improvements and adjustments. Furthermore, two new maps have been added and two maps were adjusted in respect to player feedback. We wish you a happy new year along with a lot fun playing version 1.5!

red orchestra is the best mod for UT2k4
this is the best mod for ut2k4 but the bots sux... "/
this mod is only better than CSS in a few ways, graphics not being one of them
text hereWow, nice mod I think :D
are you sure HK makes them and not alliant techsystems or someone? because I dont remember seeing them on any HK firarms and the SL8 that you were taking about does sound very strange, considering its a light sniper rifle
i plan for red orchestra to be my first UT2004 game. for my brithday i will get that, plus a new logitech headset. then my next goal will be to buy UT2004, so i can play crossfire :D
keep in mind that i am not buing UT2004 for itself at all...no i've played it at costco and places like that, and it sucks balls. the only "real" good thing about the game itself is the very good graphics that can be used. unfortunately, and i could care less, (kinda sad at the same time) it appears to me that the makers of UT2004 tried to make the game look as shitty as possible, because all the mods i've seen for it look 2 times better (to be less exaggerant, but pretty close :D). personally i think this mod is better than cs:s just by looking at the freakin' sreenshots. for a substitute to cs:s try the mod, Plan of Attack (PoA). it is tons of fun...hope to see you there, (if you at all decide to play) my current alias is +S!C+
HK makes those STANAG magazines. yea, they are the standard, but the G36 series take a different type of magazine. and you know what i found out recently? the rifle in F.E.A.R. is like a SL-8 with automatic fire enabled, and for some strange reason...45-round drum magazines. kinda awkward don't ya think?
the m16 magazine IS the STANAG magazine, its the most common magazine used for assualt rifles today
The Famas G2 Has a 30 Round clip-The Same one from the M16/M4(its called the STANAG Magazine)
The FAMAS F1 has a 25 Round clip. Also The Model of the HK MP7 in the mod has a 20 round magazine
the 40 Round magazine looks like this Army-technology.com (the one on the ground)
wtf is a peal?
