The Game Inspired by TacticalOps, a game based on Epic's awardwinning UnrealEngine, a group of friends took an ambitious step, creating a sequel to their favorite game on a new level of UnrealTechnology. Led by the people behind TacticalOps and TOST, backed up by a bunch of artists, modellers, mappers and supporters, the team behind TO: Crossfire pushes the limitations of Epic's Unreal Engine 2. The last pageupdates gave you some visual impressions of our maps and models and once again it is now time for some new content! DummyFlummy already wrote about the current progress of the P90 animation status in his latest blog post which we can now show you. Enjoy the current reload animation of our FN P90!

Next to the P90 we decided to show you the reload-animation for the Dragunov SVD - which will be the terrorists sniper rifle of choice - as well. It would be a shame to hold it back :)

While DummyFlummy is busy animating our weapons, restcrew created some other art you might have already seen in our Development Forum: a T42 tank , an Oyota Coro and a male hostage to name a few. Recently he showed us his skills once again and created the statue which can be seen below (please note that the render on the left is the highpoly-version of the statue, ingame you'll see a version that ensures decent fps).

For those of you out there fluent in written german, the Played-Magazine has published an interview with MadOnion in their third issue together with a review of the history of TacticalOps - the coverage features TO and TO:C on 11 (!) pages and brings back good old memories.

And last but not least, the TO:Crossfire team would like to invite you to a dedicated TO:Crossfire Developers Chat next sunday (October 23rd) around 20:00 CET.
The event will be held in #to-crossfire.devchat on QuakeNet. In this event core developers and content creators will answer questions from the fans.
In order to make sure as many questions as possible can be answered, please submit them starting 30 minutes before the actual event to the chat moderators.
