ESF is a fast paced, 3rd person fighter based on the hit anime, Dragonball Z. Select your favorite character and fly, power up, transform, melee, and beam your enemies into pulp. Each character is given signature moves and abilities to compliment different style of play. Some are stronger in hand to hand combat, others are better with energy attacks. Play in three different game modes, deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the dragonballs. There is a learning curve so newbies beware. This is not your normal Half-life mod.

Pcjoe and Davidskiwan have tag teamed a new character select screen.
Here are some of the features:
- Characters are displayed in a controllable 3d window.
- Mousing over a character displays their character information including character form, custom models, character statistics, character info, and attacks.
- Selecting a different form will update the character form and attack area's with new information.
- Custom models allow you to select fanmade models without replacing your original model.
- When you select attacks, an attack info panel pops up, and the selected attack plays out in the 3d panel on the selected character.
Now for the goodies!
Note: All data and bars in these screen shots are temporary.

you just need to buy HL witch is 9$ you can add it in your account as well,DOD it's nice to ,anyway once you buy HL then you must run it for a few minits (2 max) then hl will make some files and when you install ESF it will be a direct path to hl
It says it runs on the site though, and with Day of Defeat.. it allows it to install etc. The only reason why you need half life is for the engine etc, which CS 1.6 and DOD contains all those things. If thats true then I waisted £10 =P

ESF only works with one hl 1 and with CS it does not work
lol trying on another forum and replied to the wrong thing. Guys blehing around.
In short, I have CS 1.6 and DOD, not the original half life due to my brother using that key. I have installed it, but it doesnt show up on steam, and when I select the icon it starts up the game I selected to install into. Says I can use Hl, cs or dod on the requirements.. any help?

Due to steams rubbish on clamping down pirate copies my brother used the only half life code we have. So I went out and bought CS 1.6 with Day of Defeat. Now on your ESF site it says you require either half life, CS 1.6 or DOD.
It wont install unless you have one of them games as it needs to install into the file to use the engine. I installed it, everything looks fine, I open up steam and its not there. So I go to the icon and click on it from there - as sometimes you need to play the game before steam registers it in the app files. But everytime I try it, it runs CS 1.6 or DOD. The target is set for CS files or if i install it in DOD it runs from there. But in the ESF folder there is no file to start up the game in there. So wtf? any suggestions anyone? works fine on my brothers pc.
it's not our fult you don't know where to look download or why hl is a ripoffjust deal with it (and if you use a more of a brain you can find what you need
i need half life!!!!!!!!! give me half life or run this damn game on a different soft ware that has no connnection completely to money!!!!!!!!!! this game is a rip off..
well the pors it's from your router of you have a router you sould learn how to foward them up the esf ports ar betwin 27020 to 27030
you need to see hl.exe to be able to isntall it if you go to that directory it must be the hl.exe
