ESF is a fast paced, 3rd person fighter based on the hit anime, Dragonball Z. Select your favorite character and fly, power up, transform, melee, and beam your enemies into pulp. Each character is given signature moves and abilities to compliment different style of play. Some are stronger in hand to hand combat, others are better with energy attacks. Play in three different game modes, deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the dragonballs. There is a learning curve so newbies beware. This is not your normal Half-life mod.

Yeah i love this mod it will definatly be my fav when it comes out but the devs get a bit slack with updating their journals thats the only problem I've got with ESF!
(kinda o/t, but ..yeah)Personally I dont like any of those "catch em all" shows like pokemon, digimon, monster racher, cardcaptors, yugioh, and that new one, power-gem or somthing...I do like DBz tho. The shows kinda stupid, just a bunch of guys grunting screaming and crying...I like the comics better, if youve ever seen them
just like 2 kids, one likes pokemon and one likes digimon, and they argue which is better. Personally I think Digimon is way better.

Yeah can't ESF and DMZ get along like stop fighting and becoming friends both mods have pros and cons. DMZ interduces a nice style of control Da Combo System w00t. Esf interduces buetiful graphics and a nice design if you guys would play both minds openly not looking for what you liek but what is unique about each mod you'd notice good and bad things.
Good to hear there arent any ESF flame wars on the DMZ forum. I remember some ESF forum members saying there were quite a few
I'm sure the Beta is way better then you actually think. And yeh, The alpha was Pos but it was still fun :D I really enjoyed playing it, Now I really can't wait for the beta :) And its 80% done so I'm sure it'll be soon :)

The bottom line though si the Alpha was a POS ;P No offense ;P However, the beta looks, well, damn :P Frickin' aweseome :P Anyway, I haven't played DMZ, only thing I got against them is the models really :P That and from what I've heard it's needlessly complicated.

There usaly isnt esf flaming on the dmz fourm/irc. If you look at the esf topics on the dmz fourm, you'd see no flame wars.
