ESF is a fast paced, 3rd person fighter based on the hit anime, Dragonball Z. Select your favorite character and fly, power up, transform, melee, and beam your enemies into pulp. Each character is given signature moves and abilities to compliment different style of play. Some are stronger in hand to hand combat, others are better with energy attacks. Play in three different game modes, deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the dragonballs. There is a learning curve so newbies beware. This is not your normal Half-life mod.
Quite some things have happend since the last time we've updated here. Firstly, I know a lot of you have been wanting an inside look at what the ESF Team has on their minds. Well with the release of the Design documents everyone and their sister can see what's being planned for the next version

Firstly, I know a lot of you have been wanting an inside look at what the ESF Team has on their minds. Well with the release of the Design documents everyone and their sister can see what's being planned for the next version of ESF. Check it out!
Next, some changes in the staff roster have been made.
First the bad news :
- Groovy has sadly been dealt a full plate at home and had to give up ESF in order to handle it. Good luck, Groovy! You will be missed.
- Nretep has decided to retire from the team as well. His work is greatly appreciated!
- Zack and Ravenblade have been removed due to inactivity. Fear not though, the ESF Team is still as strong as ever.
Now for the good news :
- Davidskiwan has joined the team as a 2d and sprite artist and is pumping out some fantastic work. Really top quality stuff.
- Magus has taken over as the Head Beta-Tester and is driving the rest of the testers to exterminate all those pesky bugs.
- I (Pain) have taken on the role of Public Relations. I'll do my best to keep the updates rolling in guys :).
What's that you say? More updates? You got it.
Pcjoe has outdone himself with the new FX system. Check out the clip here. With this new system, users will be able to act out all their favorite moments from DBZ, or even create their very own, unique scenes. Nice!
Some good news for you fans out there who love taking awesome screenshots of the game. ESF is now accepting fan submitted POTW's to adorn their front page. This is a great opportunity for you folks who want to show off your keen eye for a great scene. Submit pictures to potw@esforces.com with "potw" somewhere in the title so we know it's not spam :). And remember that submitted pictures should be with original ESF material only. Thanks!
For our fans who simply can't figure out how to work the in-game system, I have great news! One of our forum regulars, Chakra-X, has created a flash tutorial which is absolutely fantastic. Check it out!.
Don't forget to visit our forums as well! The reason? We have Forum Competitions ever so often. What is that you ask? Well, it's a chance to win access to a special forum section called "The Force Pit". This place is exploding with behind the scenes info and images that the general public doesn't get to see! Forum competitions are a great way to win access to this astounding place. Keep your eyes on the forums, I have a feeling there might be another one soon :).
