Credits where due.
DJPaul, aka Paul Gibbs, for all his Unrealscript coding. He provided more Unrealscript code than anybody else and really put his heart into the project.
Marvel, aka Mike Ganda for his sustained energy through the project. He co-ordinated the artists, created animations, put up with crappy tools, and even wrote two of the songs in this package. You're a true soldier Mike.
Ak for the menu background and entry levels.
Angleheart, aka John, for the Eden and DuskToDawn maps.
Billy Boy, aka Xia Chen, for creating the first version of the network code. Let me know how that Ph.D. went.

This month's update on The Esc Project is map related.
Here is a Map in Progress from Kenryoku one the latest additions to the site at Studio Esc.
This shows a lot of promise from this 27 yr old Developer.
He's shown a of talent and this is just the tip of the work he has planned so far for this map. We’ll look forward to more and will be giving it you live as it happens and will announce the release of this map very soon. Also we have an IRC Channel that went live as of 3/19/05 at Enterthegame.com. We'd like to thank them for allowing us the use of their server was a well as to keep Members and The Public to come by hang out and Ask Questions and such from us while we work and develop the mod to it full potential. Feel free to swing by the profile and leave your comments and Questions there, as we'll do our best to answer them. Till then have an excellent closing end to This Month of March.

Ok People, thats right we're starting to dust off the shelves and starting to clean the shop up a byte as we're moving in and opening the project back up. There are some positions that might need filling but mapping and musical talent are filled but will be expandable. Modeling new players are going to be quite soon as well. So please stay tuned all.
We're still in the process or retooling the code a bit.
So years after I had to bail out of this mod because my job had me basically living in a truck for months at a time, I find out it's still going strong . . . one day after I sign on with another mod team! The universe has a strange sense of humour sometimes :)
At this point it just uses the built in UT2k4 player models. The UT2k4 port was a pretty quick port, and the mod is definitely still "under development." We're looking for modelers/mappers/coders now, know anyone who would be interested?
In regards to that I "might" have some HDD space left to reinstall it and do some screenies for the Gallery for The UT2k4 Ver. Hold your hat on that I'll see what I can do once I get to the house and get things rollin! ;)
Any screens of the UT2K4 version around? All I seem to see is screenshots of (apparently) the previous edition, and would like to see if there's any detail increase on the new characters. (the old characters were a bit flat - I just assumed it was because of the tech though...)
Yea, they have been at work at work quite awhile. I hate teh fact there are assholes on the board and the site that just can't shut the fu** up if they have nothing better to say than "Its Stoodis I r give 1+ @
5+00P1D @\/\/@9D Look at me 1 r Teh fu|\|Y H@|-|a ". These men and women took time of thier own to create this and rather than get some dinksmack that just can't stay away and say, "You're stupid for making you wasted 7 Yrs of your lives on this piece of crap HAHAHAH! My Mod Rocks Long live me" then just propogate more crap, JUST STAY OFF the Friggin thread if you're that much of rude retraded sleestack you really have no right to be here on here on the site. You wanna Flame someone take off site -Period- . My Two Cents. Grrrrr
I smell a Dedication Award brewing.. 5 years is a bloody long time!
heh .. cool ... like 2 years ago i had an idea kind of similar to this mod but i thought i wouldnt be realizeable (sp?) .. however .. seems to be an interesting mod ... unfortunally i dont have ut2k4 >_>
but anyways, good luck with your mod guys :)
