GMod is a Sandbox Modification. Using GMod you can pose ragdolls. This means can position people from HL2/CS/DoD and change their faces. A big comic book creating community has popped up around this feature. Using GMod you can build. Take props from HL2/CS/DoD and weld them together to make walls. Axis a wheel to it to create a working car. Rope some cans to the back. A big contraption creating community has popped up around GMod - creating such things as Rube Goldberg devices, catapults, cannons, bridges etc.. Using GMod you can make your own weapons. That's right, make your own weapons. Using Lua you can create a custom weapon to do just about anything. If you're new you can change simple things like rate of fire, models, sounds. If you're awesome the world is your oyster, mass changing guns, melon cannons, jetpacks. GMod gives you the freedom to do any of these things in single player or online with your friends.

I made this map in about 1 month. In Gm_RiverTrek, you will spawn on a small dock. There are two types of drivable boats you can take, a small rowboat, or a medium size house boat. You can go into the ancient ruins area from there on the river that passes through a few ancient temples and loops back to make a full circle. On the river you will see a huge volcano off in the distance, if you enter the main temple and steal the volcano god's treasure you will feel his wrath. There are many details I put into this map such as every 10 to 20 minutes randomly a storm will happen, it will get cloudy and you will hear thunder. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the map, it could be used for many things like RPing, comic making, or even just hanging out and building. Also, set net_maxfilesize 60 to allow people to download it from your server. (although I doubt they'll wait that long to download, the map is 52mb!)
