ZPS Windows Full Build v1.25b
Apr 15, 2008 Full Version 6 commentsZombie Panic: Source version 1.25b includes stability fixes, a new weapon highlight system, and a few map and model fixes. This file is a full build for...
The basic idea of the Zombie Panic is to create solid game play that is based on a classic zombie outbreak scenario. The living dead are coming for the last remaining humans, and these survivors must fight them off and live through the day.
Everyone joins a server, in the beginning you can either choose to join the human team or you can volunteer to be the first zombie. If no one volunteers the game will pick one human randomly and the game begins. The starter zombie's goal is to, of course kill the humans while the human goal is to stay alive as long as possible, complete objectives, or even wipe out all the zombies. The catch is that when a human is slayed he will simply join the ranks of the undead, now ready to finish off his old living teammates. The humans can't tell by the player list who’s alive and who’s not, eventually there will only be one survivor still standing if all goes wrong, facing all the zombies which use to be allies, with his back to a wall. The zombies only have a certain number of reinforcements (lives), when a zombie is killed they lose 1 life from the counter. However, when a human is killed they gain 1 life. If the zombies only have 1 respawn left the humans can win the round by killing off the remaining undead left on the map.
We want the mod to feel creepy and give you a sense of desperation, and yet not take itself so seriously that you can't laugh at the way you got slayed. Overall fun and playability is the priority, where is realism and horror while important are just a bonus when possible. We want a mod that you can easily play with any number of people, even with small numbers or uneven numbers. Plus, there's a certain sense of satisfaction in tearing apart those heartless survivors who failed to protect you while you were alive, limb from limb.

Hello folks,
With the dev team spending an excessive amount of hours working on the content
expansion we are in the need of some new testers. In the past we have had many
applicants that have gotten the opportunity to test for us only to turn
inactive or disappear after a few months.
Therefore, we will now try out something completely new to us; a Playtesters
try out clan!
ZP community members can apply to join this clan by posting an application on
the forums. When they are accepted they must wear the clan tag in-game, stay
active on IRC and show up to scheduled clan games on the public version of ZPS.
When we need new testers we will pick people from this clan to join the real
squad, we will make the decisions based on activity and dedication but also on
personalities. It works like a try out period for playtesters.
By joining this clan you have no special priveledges or status. Members are
being evaluated for a potential position on the team as an Official ZPS
Playtester.
We give you; Live to Win clan! [L2W]
Requirements for membership-
- You must be registered and active on the ZP forums.
- You must be an active Zombie Panic: Source player.
- You must be friendly towards other community members and players.
- Post a proper application with all the information requested. (See
application forums for more information)
Clan Rules-
1. Must attend scheduled weekly Clan Games (Basically game with fellow clan
mates on scheduled days every week).
2. Must stay active on IRC and Forums (this shows you're dedicated and will be
around when things come up).
3. Have fun but act mature (If you are later accepted as playtester your
actions will reflect this mod and its team).
4. If for any reason you cannot make a scheduled game you must inform the Clan
Leader OkeiDo (Note: Missing multiple games for any reason will count against
you).
5. Wear the [L2W] tag infront of your name in-game.
6. Remember these are try outs for becoming an Official Playtester so your
actions matter. If you can't abide by these rules then feel free to drop out at
any time.

what type of graphics card do u have drenwick
probably not man, sorry
Will Half-Life 2 work on these specs?
Acer Extensa 6600 laptop
Intel(R) Pentium(R) M
processor 1.60GHz
1.60 GHz, 503 MB RAM
Microsoft Windows XP
Home Edition
Service Pack 2
Prob not very well with that memory, what's the graphics card? If it's one of those integrated types forget it.
Come on, i can play HL2 in my laptop with high settings and with average 28fps.
(no bicthing about "crappy fps". remember, that movies have usually 25fps, especially blu-ray movies.)
Amd turion 64 mk36 (single-core)
1Gb Ram
Windows XP Pro 32-bit
Radeon xpress 1100 128mb
80 Gb HDD
Only problem is overheating ~ laptop will usually freeze, when temperature reaches the 85 degrees.
Do you have a graphics card?
Ok this modd was pretty cool but I feel there is a power struggle between the two... Cooler powers for the zombies is a must. Like limited super strength to pick up couches and such. Fire has always been a possibility with the source engine. It would be so cool if you guys could develop a flame thrower. The Sniper rifle thing everyone wants seems over the top.....
yeah, add some zombie females :P
by the way, the glowing red thing... its kinda stupid...
Please elaborate...
