Basically the same stuff as the Renegade version. It will be started after we finish the Renegade version. Reborn is an fps based on the universe of Tiberian Sun. You will be able to control all TS units and walk with Titans or Mammoth MKII... Be ready for the big thing!

We will use the Dead-6 mod of renevo.com to make it. We will export all our work from the renegade version to crysis. Then we will setup all and once all is in-game, we will start imporving models with patchs.

Be patient and if you can't wait: Buy Renegade.

It seems the update of Moddb made us lose the other profile for the renegade version of the mod. I wrote an email to the admins and I am sure it will be back soon. I apologize for this.

About the updates, we hadn't much recently but be assured we are working hard on the mod. Currently we are building the final presets for a release of a beta with the infantry and some maps, after this we will go further and add the rest of we worked on for the last 3 years.

Again thank you for your support, keep watching us!

Moving on to the Crysis engine (CryEngine 2) is an excellent move to be honest. I'll explain with the following pointers why that is so.

-It will take a couple of years 'til this goal will be achieved for the developers, which creates enough time for hardware prices to go down for to be able to run the CryEngine 2 properly on average PCs.
-The CryEngine 2 will last a lot longer in terms of graphics and physics, thus more players over the longerterm.
-An even more beautiful and more realistic game than if you were to use the Unreal Engine 3.

The CryEngine 2 is in use for 3 years now, 1 to 2 more years counted on top of that for the C&C Reborn Crysis version release, and you should have had enough time to buy that affordable PC to run Crysis smoothly (or any other game who uses the engine). Remember, hardware prices do tend to drop of course. ^_^

The crysis-C&C Reborn version has been cancelled for years. We are only creating C&C Reborn for the W3D engine.

The only problem of moving to Crysis is that need a powerful PC. However, not everyone, like me may run Crysis, so I think you guys will have more people on the "Renegade version" then the Crysis version... Also, there is many teams working on it for Crysis... Like a dude said - join on it.

There will be less time wasted... 5 More years for another mod is too much, huh?

Going to Crysis seems a bad move Why not go to the Half-life 2 Engine or somthing? Not many people can play Crysis.

@Sn1p3r87
Because Cryengine technology is more advanced than the Source.
Bigger maps
Better graphic
Advanced AI
A real environment
A weather
There are plenty other things more but the last one I will say is NO DAMN STEAM! HL2 Would go faster without it.

This looks incredible; My favorite game in the C&C series is now playable as an FPS, my favorite type of game. Amazing.
