Hey guys, just checking in.  No we are NOT dead.  No we are NOT going anywhere.  Wanted to let you know Modelers are working hard on their prospective projects.  I ,however, have been busy as hell so not much coding/UI work has gotten done.
However, that is all about to change so keep your eyes out for updates a plenty soon.  The "final" release of 1.82 has gone live so the mod will be updated to this current version.  Sins Patch Note: 1.82 Final Release

Suggestion, put the tech trees back in. Leave in the vanilla stuff until you change it. That way we don't have to fight 7-9 people who are identical to us, also we can do some bloody diplomacy.

There currently is no plans to implement diplomacy seems how there is only war in the 41st millinum as well we are working as we go that is the current build we wont just add something in to just as a temporary measure

So, you're saying that 2 arguing forces of the Imperium won't make amends in order to kill some xenos scum? Or an Eldar force won't make a quick cease fire with an Ultramarine fleet in order to remove the foulness of chaos? Cos that's kinda what they do.

While I can see the logic in also having diplomacy between the same factions, I don't think there is a need to change it. It is not that hard to imagine the opposing Imperial Navy vessels as being renegades. Or other eldar factions being corsairs coming to raid your fleets. A little imagination goes a long way. As for tech trees, I think that would make no sense. Upgrading your weapons is tech heresy. Just throw more men at the enemy. Will get the job done.

However, the how the Imperial Navy works is that they send a strike force. Then, as the war progresses, the high lords of terra sanction the use of larger, more powerful ships and fleets (similar to fleet logistics, but with the addition of better ships). This would also work with renegades. In the beginning of a conflict they won't send their best ships to be destroyed, remember this is the dark age of technology, building ships is a long and costly task, especially for Mars or Luna pattern ships.

I have found a little mistake: the Repair Platform research information is still saying that you can build that structure, instead of saying that it upgrades the Forges now.
