Was it ever really ironed out that the Thunderbolt can operate outside of an atmosphere? In Double Eagle they reference it as a scram-jet which wouldn't really work in space.
Nope. Lexicanum states that TB has a rocket-engine that enabes its use in the vacuum. Although, Fury Interceptor would be a better choice for a starfighter.
Its not a star fighter by any means, but I've been wanting to model it for so long it was a perfect opportunity. It'll work as a good place holder for awhile
Thunderbolt is a sexy beast...
I'm guessing the bomber will be the Marauder bomber. Considering, well, it's the navy's bomber. Even has bomber in it's name.
