The Rebels are SUPER powerful... though they can be beaten.

Suggesytions.. uh.. well.. yall heard alot of mine already.

FX
- AA flak FX thats really old from the first release with these ships to entrenchment. I think with a team like you guys you can make it much much better looking and sounding.
-weapon batteries- needs more then a throwing sound and more effects as a weapon battery fires.
Lance Batteries- Its my thought that lances are like a lascannon. its not a continuous laser its a laser shot and with a bit of a tail.
I think crusier level ships should have a tad bit longer of a destruction time as when its HP is zero.

Models- I know these are from entrechment... ive seen abbadons work and toast.. cant wait to see new models in the future.

Rebels- what ships will they end up being? possessed IG ships?

There seems to be a alot of strings not found which is something i noticed.
I havent seen or noticed a nova cannon firing yet.
Will torpedos be changed to non homing, or stay homing?

I really like the IG ships turning broadside to use its weapons, but some dont. I dont know if some of the ships you have intended to stay straight on to use torpedos and Top turret fixed weapons, but some do when I think turning broadside would be more powerful.

better FX for weapons both visual and sound.
Voice acting.. ...... mars calls cruiser... with the vanilla voice saying in a rather geeky way... what a machine.... lulz..

Thanks NK and the Rebels/pirates are going to be the Freebooters Lead by Kaptin Bluddflagg so they will be da orkz

and the particles will be changed along with sounds just haven't had time RL stuff has kept us all busy

Nova isnt a laser its a shell thats the size of ...uh well i was going to say a locomotive... but its bigger then a locomotive..

Alright so.... more suggestion...

Wormholes.. How about changing them to something a bit scary? Sins of the prophets made a cool one.. but I think worm holes should be entrance to the warp.. or smaller Eyes of terror considering the fact you could warp from one system to the next with a wormhole. So why not have Chaos vessel covering them and make em a scary phenominom... like.. let me look for examples.. Fc02.deviantart.net

I also thought the mac cannon sounds from prophets what pretty fitting for what a weapon battery sound would be.. maybe a tad more umf to it though..

First issue i have is every thing is too fragile. I attack a pirate base with like 20 ships i lose my battleship and half the fleet.
This should be changed. These ship are flying castles they shouldent die in 5 shots. You should also seriously decrease the range with range and damage like that theirs no chance to use scouts or retreat.

we will be adding in research to make ships less squishy but they are currently balances like that due to not wanting to ships battles to last 10 mins for just 3 ships

I see what you mean but one thing that i think needs to happen is a serious range nerf. i enter a gravity well and get blasted one thats fixed i think it'll be a lot better.

Most of my familiarity with 40k is from the DoW games, but I remember reading that the hp/shield/damage here was to emulate actual Battlefleet Gothic gameplay. I also remember reading something elsewhere that talked about the relative strengths of Imperial vs Eldar shield (or related tech); the Imperial shield regenerate quickly but aren't nearly as strong. Assuming this is all true, then very small numbers of Imperial ships fighting each other might not actually be able to destroy each other while small amounts of Eldar vs Imperial could end up very one sided. I guess that I am trying to say that the current ship survivability might seem off now, but might be better when more factions are added.

Could you at some point, tell us what kinds of weapons are better against which types of ships?
