2600AD is a single player game currently being developed on the UDK by the Canadian company Furious Entertainment. The year is 2600 and the world is locked in constant gang warfare. Join the Renegade gang and fight your way threw a post apocalyptic wasteland to the top ranks of the Renegade gang. Game Will feature: 4 Unique gangs -Renegade (Non-mutated humans and the players gang) -Brotherhood (A group of drug addicted religious fanatics) -KayNyne Krew (Humanoid hounds of war) -Steel Corpse (Basically radiated rotting human tissue held together with nuts and bolts) Fight with a full unique arsenal -Autogun (primary machinegun/assault weapon) -Hellfire Shotgun (Compact light weight shotgun) -Redeemer (a large slug based handgun) -Cyclone (double barreled automatic personal defense weapon) And many more.... This Game will also put heavy emphasis on vehicular combat.

Hello all fellow moddbers.
This is basically a news post to let the comunity know that I've recently suffered a hard drive failure. Yes my primary "work/gaming drive" my 500 giger has quit on me. Never fret my friends this mod is still mostly in the concept stage, most of the mods work is in scetchbooks and on whiteboards and they havent burned out or "failed" on me. Any actual work that was done so far on the mod is however backed up on my 2 flash drives, one 2 giger and one 4 giger.To the point.
Thank god for my computer technical skills, i was able to extract most of the data from the defective drive and yes the drive is still under warranty. I am currently waiting on my RMA drive replacement and yes i still am working on the mod off my flash drives. Until then i am unable to give you some of the media i wish i could show you of the wip so far from the ingame prespective including a video i wish to post showing the introduction to the mod. So here i am updating you the comunity via my Fujitsu U810. Although i am having trouble typing due to the small keys, next news post will hopefully be more on the positive side and hopefully showing of some more media. I also have almost completed the backstory leading up to the first level of the mod which I will post so the players will get a better understanding of the mods direction and what to expect. If this project goes as planned

Btw engine is going to be ut3/udk and also gona be openish world. Now that ive fired threw all zillion pages of mastering the udk i feel that progress will be moving a little quicker. Keep a eye out for eyecandy coming soon and thanks to all of 2600ads followers for their support.
Actually the mod is not dead infact we're currently investigating the posiblilty of going comercial with the help of the UDK :)
hmmm... Is this mod dead? Cause the last update was about 7 months ago and the release date is almost 1 month ago without a DL

Theres be a news post soon with a video showing off our personel vs vehicle combat. Not going to give to much away but i will say this vehicles can die in three ways. Also the video will showcase the new but still wip kaynyne character
