SDBC 2 was going to be artistically unique and involved modDB's community.

With no doubt, SDBC 2 has been one of the most creative and inspiring mods we have seen in this small community. Sadly, just today it said it's goodbye. The team leader Stuffie, who is actually one of my best moddb friends was just talking to me about these a few days ago. Unfortunately, I didn't think it'd come this soon. I just checked this site a few moments ago and found the news post a little shocking and so my immediate reaction was to write about it. I was almost considering un-authing the news and yelling at him about it. I conducted an interview with him on August 25th which was supposed to be very unique. I wasn't MasterChopChop, I was playing the role as Wally (modDB's mascot) and Stuffie was playing Beercan. It was interesting cause the interview was free flowing and it went through it's own freeflowing way. The reason why it wasn't released earlier is because we had the anticipation of turning it into a flash movie. As you can see it didn't quite happen, and here we are. I really do wish this mod will some day make its way back. And maybe we will see that day, but as of now SDBC 2 is gone. There is a small possibility that it shall be picked up again, as it stands Ive come to the realisation that it is just to large of a project, Id need a army of helpers to get any where near something releasable.

Plus ive lost alot of faith over the last year or so with people disapearing, even the people whom were most dedicated just vanished.

I may return with a much smaller scale SDBC project soon so just keep those eyes open :P.

I saw this coming, thats why I left. You cant create this mod with just a coder (me) and a modeler/skinner (Stuffie). I left because I didn't want to spend time on something thats going to die anyway. If SDBC ever gets revived (and it as active teammembers), I'm in for sure :).
