SMG Concepts image - 2030 Mod for Half-Life 2

2030 is a mod set 24 years in the future. Our mod will feature both singleplayer and multiplayer game modes but currently, we are working on singleplayer. Singleplayer will feature a well balanced storyline of innocence, death, corruption, and war while maintaining a futuristic setting not unreasonable for such a small window of time. After a nuclear explosion destroys Baltimore in the year 2026, citizens of the United States panic and demand answers. In the following years, the A.I.P.S. bill (Autonomous-Intelligence Protective System) is passed by Congress. This bill forms a new police force and institutes the use of cameras, listening devices, databases, and security stations throughout the country. Aside from the government's force, two other factions were left unresolved; the corporations and civilians.
