Hey Guys may i just point out that there is a Dragonball online OFFICIAL MMORPG being released around mid 2008. The team consists of nearly all of the Dragonball Z and Dragonball GT Animators/Drawing staff. and a couple of the original Dragonball Z writers and a few GT writers ( DragonballGT was writen by a new writing staff). The Company that is creating the game is NamcoBandai(Creators of the all the Console DBZ games). DBO will be versing WoW. the official website is currently a "Project" webpage at Ntl-kk.com

this game looks really crappy :P

It's a pity that the mod is dead. DMZ was a good competition for ESF =)

Merry Christmas everyone.

I have gotten a lot of emails regarding the life of DMZ, even a skilled coder who is willing to help. The only problem is, I overestimated my ability to get in contact with Akira714. Keep sending in your feedback if you want this mod alive again or not, and I will do my best to get in touch with who I need to, to revive this awesome mod.

Thanks,
Viper747

Whats up people..

I am one of the original members of DMZ, if you dont believe me... I dont care. The site isnt up to prove it anymore.. that of which I have no idea why. DMZ was a part of my life for a good few years, and I still have good memories of those days. I was the Sound Artist, and resident asshole on the forums. My tendency to get into terrible arguments with people actually got me booted from ESF, which I went under the name Shindo747... and for some reason, Im not listed as retired team. At one point, ESF and DMZ almost combined, due to my friendship with pcjoe and akira714... but the development was too drastically different to merge.

I came across this mod DB thing and saw recent posts, even this month about DMZ and downloading. Sadly, I dont even have HL anymore (new computer), or any DMZ files. But I do give you this.

Email me at eyenine@gmail.com with any requests to have DMZ put back online, and I will personally buy HL1 again, install DMZ and play with a new generation of fans. I promise you the game is fun, it is very different from ESF. The atmosphere of the game was amazing (mostly due to my sound efforts ;-) haha) but seriously.

Ive been thinking about playing the game again but I know realistically no one plays or even has it anymore. I can be in direct contact with Akira714 as soon as tonight about this. I want to see DMZ alive again, if not for just one last hurrah. We can set up a night where old fans and new ones alike can play on servers. Reply to this showing your demand, and email me too.. So i know this effort isnt in vain.

Thanks,
Viper747
