Imagine a world where the Allies didn't win the war, nor did the Axis. Instead, the war just continued on and on in an unsteady stalemate. Welcome, to the world of 1949. In this world Germany decided not to bomb London, but instead continued its attacks on Britain's airfields. Then, the Russians lost at Kursk. Finally, D-Day fails. With these victories, Germany has managed to halt the Allie's progress. In the Western Theatre, the Allies and the Axis each plan the invasion of the other's vital territories. In the Pacific, Japan and the United States are dueling over tiny islands with giant fleets and atomic weapons. Now, the stalemate is about to be broken. Germany is preparing an all out invasion of Britain. As tough and valiant as the Allied troops defending the Sceptered Isle are, some of their leaders are beginning to that they will be unable to hold against the Wehrmacht.

Greeting everyone. I'd like to start out by saying that development is going rather smoothly, for the moment. There may be problems as time goes on, but I am confident that any issues will be resolved. Still, help is always appreciated, so don't hesitate to offer any assistance you can. Now then, on to my main subject. I'd like to detail one of the mod's aspects to you all: Divisions and Armies.

In this mod, Americans have a choice of "Army" when they enter the battlefield. Each has different effects, though all provide good options for any play style. Some will change your normal units to be able to fulfill different roles. The Army choices are:

Army of Industry
Army of Breaching
Army of Tomorrow

The Germans, on the other hand, use "Divisions," which are much more formulaic, and depend on a single resource for all their units and powers. They also provide specialized support for the Wehrmacht, but that support is very rigidly limited to a certain style of command. The Division choices are:

Hermann Goering Division (Balance/Fuel)
Ostheer Division (Defense/Munitions)
SS Waffen Division
(Assault/Manpower)

More details on these will be released eventually. In the meantime, please ponder the questions I am about to ask.

Since, in the mod's time-line, the Hermann Goering Division has expanded
to become more than one division, I think it should have its own ranks, not
just recycled Luftwaffe/Wehrmacht ones. However, I'd like to hear what
you have to say on the subject.

Additionally, I'd like to know if you prefer the title Honor Guard, or Reich's Guard, for each "Division's" elite troops.

Until next time,

Lord Wiffleby
