Imagine a world where the Allies didn't win the war, nor did the Axis. Instead, the war just continued on and on in an unsteady stalemate. Welcome, to the world of 1949. In this world Germany decided not to bomb London, but instead continued its attacks on Britain's airfields. Then, the Russians lost at Kursk. Finally, D-Day fails. With these victories, Germany has managed to halt the Allie's progress. In the Western Theatre, the Allies and the Axis each plan the invasion of the other's vital territories. In the Pacific, Japan and the United States are dueling over tiny islands with giant fleets and atomic weapons. Now, the stalemate is about to be broken. Germany is preparing an all out invasion of Britain. As tough and valiant as the Allied troops defending the Sceptered Isle are, some of their leaders are beginning to that they will be unable to hold against the Wehrmacht.
Hey everyone, I thought I would give you all a preview of what I plan to do with the British in my mod. I've been working on stuff for all the factions, but I am currently focusing on the British.
I cannot yet say when the next full update will be done, but in the meantime, please enjoy this unit preview. I should note that there is no bullpup reload animation yet, but I'll see what I can do about that.

Great stuff man! Keep working on it! Didnt know the British used bullpups that early ^^
I'm not sure i think it's a bit early plus the wiki says 1951.
also it was a very experimental weapon and only briefly used.
In this timeline the developments of the EM-2 and EM-1 were accelerated during the Lull of post D-Day failiure, but as few StG44's and fewer StG-45 have been captured compared to the number of G43s and technical data obtained from the Soviets on their SVT-40 have led to a much better developed EM-2. There may be some drawbacks to it though, early technical glitches or ammunition problems, as both the ammo and weapon aren't as well proven as the venerable Lee-Enfield and .303 British round. Maybe it will be Semi-Auto only until an upgrade or advancement is obtained, giving Full-Auto capabilities.
I'm guessing you're also making the Taden Gun to go with the EM-2? It's the same calibre (.280) so I'm guessing it makes sense.
I did propose it, not 100% on the bosses plan on this. I'm going to guess that we will see it, maybe in different doctrines. I also proposed the Besal LMG as a cheaper version of the BREN Gun. My belief is that the Taden will be in a heavily offensive doctrine/offensive tech tree of the Brits. The Bren may still be standard for early troops, but may have been replace by the Besal LMG, at least for the Civilian Auxiliaries.
