The No More Room in Hell mod is a total conversion modification for the game Half-Life 2. It pits a small group of human players against a overwhelming horde of undead, flesh eating zombies. The mod takes place in a small mid-western city in the United States. There, the humans must try to escape the city alive by any means necessary. This means that the use of vehicles will be crucial to survival against the undead.
The mod is co-op, which means that you will be playing side by side with other people from around the world to fight the zombies, which are computer controlled NPCs. Because the mod is using Half-Life 2's Source gaming engine, we hope to make this one of the scariest and most frightening mods to date.
In this modification we plan to use the full extent of Half-Life 2's physics for ultimate game play. To put this in example form we have plans for a wooden bat that will break after heavy use. We also plan on taking advantage of the advanced map sizes for large cities and open areas, even though most the game is planned to be urban combat.

New screenshots from our work-in-progress map, "City of Dawn", have been added to the Screenshots section of the website (www.nomoreroominhell.com). The mapper, darth_brush, has completed the design/layout stage of his map and it is now nearing completion as he awaits new customized textures and prop models. Not the least of which will be new posters from the "No More Room in Hell" Poster Contest, as the posters currently featured in the Dawn Cinema screenshot are simply placeholders for the time being.

"City of Dawn", just as the name indicates, is very much a city and one our largest maps to date. As survivors, it is up to the players to navigate their way through the smoldering ruins of this once prosperous city and seek the road to freedom, preferably in a car with a tank full of gas. Of course with a city infested with zombies escape or safety can be often elusive and a gruesome death more readily assured.
And if you think this map looks impressive, wait until we show you what darth_brush has planned for his next project as he tackles designing a map based on a keystone location well known to zombie movie fans worldwide.
