Hi folks. I've decided to post here on the 1187 ModDB page because in a way this affects 1187 and I believe that some of the fans might be curious what I've been doing all this time.

So yeah, Contagion's the name, zombie survival co-op at it's best is the game. Yesterday our kickstarter went live. Contagion's in it's final stretches of development which means our Kickstater will come with all the information on pricing, release schedule, and most of the questions we've been asked since Contagion was announced. 

The reason for this Kickstarter is to help us in the final stages of Contagion's development. Up to this point all development costs, licenses required to continue our work, our trips to GDC, PAX, and Gamescom, and much more has been all out of our own pockets and while we'd very much like to finish without asking, we're just so close and it's time we ask our community, fans, and hopefuls to help us reach the milestone that will get the ball rolling on it's own. We need your support to help in the final stretches of development. We hope to see our 1187, ZP:S, NMRiH, and new Contagion fans showing their support!

We had a Preliminary Beta Key give away the least few days and we're getting a lot of positive feedback from the beta players. It's an early beta and there's a lot of room for us to improve, while that being said, the beta release has gone extremely well and we've already updated the game and will be doing so until release.

I hope to see some of you guys back the project and help us in realizing our dream of creating a fun and unique, true coop zombie survival experience.

Just completed the game ,

thoroughly enjoyed it. I love how the whole combat aspect differs from half life and the addition of iron sights blends in well with this combat system.

Great voice acting, mostly humorouus, kept me smiling all the way through.

Your take on the resident evil mansion is what sold it for me though, recognized it as soon as i walked in :D

the level design is immense, especially the forest lvl i was paticularly impressed with.

Overall you can tell a great deal of love and effort has been put into this mod and for me this game is on a par with black mesa.

I hope there will be a sequel as the last level reveals some suggestive information!

Thoroughly enjoyed it, fantastic piece of work, great job :D

Wait, do I need both HL2:E2 AND Source SDK 2k7? I'm getting errors everywhere in the maps. Currently, I only have HL2 and the Source SDK 2k7 installed on Steam via Desura.

hi joure it's been a while i finally made ur mod work for me! but i get this error whenever i go near the dude whos behind a gate in the level after u get past the subway system so pls help.

Best mod ever, at least before Black Mesa or those zombie mods.
Excellent voice acting, good storyline, good music and most importantly, John breaking the fourth wall in the tutorial and the Christmas map.

hey guys whats with the errors everywhere i go? there are cars that are error, a few trains that are error, even gates and elevators that are error. i walked through gates and trains because the objects are bugged anyone got a clue of whats going on? cause from it looks like i gotta change the graphics. i tried getting the graphics all the way up to very high and its still not showing objects from the title screen. i really hope theres a solution to this object error

also i see alot of graphical glitches so i wonder if it requires to have half life 2 episode 2? because in the videos ive seen the objects must be required in half life 2 episode 2

yeah, it works best with ep2. It is okay with ep1, but, like you said, is missing some textures

ok thanks i didnt know i needed both half life 2 and episode 2 to make the objects appear i am such a ******* for not noticing but so far your mod is really good and the voice acting is really decent. the no crossairs is like adding to realism to the mod cause some mods and games ive seen and played can have the function of adding or removing crossairs besides no crossairs adds to realism to games and mods

besides popular half life 1,2 and epsodes mods can have no crossairs if people think no crossairs is lame and really stupid to put here is what i would say to people who say that "Hey no crossairs adds to realism to games so dont bitch about no crossairs in games" and if they say "crossairs ruel they managed to help aiming so **** games that has no crossairs" then i would "******* some games has the function of adding or removing crossairs so go **** yourself" and i pull out duel berettas and shoot them

I just loved that game, the end was freaking awesome! PLEASE make a sequel 10/10.

The visuals were okay but the gameplay was frustrating and badly designed. Nearly EVERY design decision they made was a bad one. Removing noclip, flashlight only working on some of the guns, ugly view bobbing, annoying companion whom you have to babysit 24/7. The list goes on and on. The gameplay at the start is incomprehensible. Instead of going for the tried and true design of giving the player subtle hints on where to go, the mappers opted for a "dump them in a maze with abritaryly locked doors…
