Oh, one comment I forgot to post: the key in the first level was hard for me to find. Once I saw the little glowing light around it, everything made perfect sense, but it seems to me that picking up keys is something that most players wouldn't expect to have to do in a HL2 mod.
Perhaps you could add some on-screen text (the same sort of thing that you've already done in a few places) saying something like "the door is locked, finding a key might help," or "I need a key to open this door," when the player attempts to open a locked door.
Also, on my first playthrough, the poison headcrab scared the living shit out of me, and I just ran outside as fast as I could and spent the next ten or so minutes looking for an exit outside, not wanting to go back inside and fight the poison headcrab unarmed. Unfortunatly, I don't really have a good suggestion here, except to say... lock the front door? I am not sure if going outside is going to be part of another level, and if it is, locking the door won't be a good choice.

Again, great work! I sat here and thought for a long time, and these are the only big gripes I could find. Can't wait for a beta!

Well, I've worked a way around the key issue.
The player will find out alot more easy what to do now.
If you ever feel like playing the next beta let me know and i'll throw you a link.

hmm, well I have had one or two crashes myself, but that is my pc, not all dev's are blessed with dual processors and some geforce 8600GTI gfx card. Other then that it should be a random crash, if not then maybe a conflict between another mod ? anyway glad you liked the first map, the end was quite harsh to get right and had to tweak it alot to get things timed just right hehe ^_^

actually i have a 8600gts and p4 ht :) but i don't think that crash was something important. i was a little harsh on game, playing to the edges. now that i finished all three maps, i can say that was one of the most accomplished mods i've seen. personally i don't like action games, but half life is an exception, so if you ask me i would like to see more of the first map better, but i know everybody don't think like me so you are doing pretty well with the mod , i guess. keep it up, i'll be tracking you, like others. i really want to see how this ends :)

hmmm, maybe, but not anytime soon since you can get free rar unzipping tools all over the net, andi can use my time better then to re zip the demo, sorry.

make sure you restart steam, and I hope you extracted it tothe sourcemods folder. and also make sure you did extract it to \Steam\steamapps\SourceMods\1187DEMO2, and NOT \Steam\steamapps\SourceMods\1187DEMO2\1187DEMO2 or something. that's all I can tell ya atm.
