Universe at War Expanded Edition
Universe at War: Earth Assault mod | Released May 5, 2008
This mod adds the military as a faction and brings in never before seen units. Also revamps Hierachy and the masari plus other balance issues and gameplay.
Adds many more maps (15-30) More info later...

Bonjour,
We have been severely inactive for the past 2 weeks on modding. We haven't released much of pictures, information for awhile and are now running into a big problem that we can go no further until the modding tools are out. Because we need the particle editor, the map editor for the new skirmish maps and campaign. We also have seen that a new patch "3" is coming very close to release for the vanilla game i just want to make it clear that we will make it compatible with the new patch. Whether this could take ages to re-code we will still do it (that won't be the case anyway because were using folders not .meg files)
Now let's cast our eyes onto something else i have not mentioned so much. We are producing a nice and easy manual for you to read when the mod hits public status. We hope you will enjoy it since it covers the brand new art of the button icons and also will include the following.
- Faqs
- Map List
- Faction Pages
- Installation Instructions
- Links
Hopefully you will enjoy reading this manual (in pdf format) instead of always having to open notepad to read a readme file which is boring at times. You will at least have art to look at.
That's about it for me i hope i can supply a little more information about the mod in forth coming days but for now

I would release it but i would like a more complete version. But because of the lack of mod tools it looks like this mod may be getting a mod release soon.
If you can't do anything more without the tools, why not release a public beta now? We all want it, and a public release would definitely increase appeal for this mod and UAW as it would be the only real mod currently released for UAW (the Novus/Hierarchy color swap mod doesn't really count as a full-fledged mod to me), and UAW needs mods.
Amazing job guys. This happened to be one of my favorite games and I'm ecstatic you guys are adding the military to a selectable list of playable sides. I can't wait to romp around with human soldiers.
