New FLBD mod

Freelancer: Black Dawn is a Halo modification for Freelancer, we currently have a very active mod team, and have just completed the first phase of our development. We are hoping to have a Public Alpha for Friday the 22nd of February with a special event called Gold vs Green. We have a very experienced mod team, which has worked on other Freelancer mods such as Monkey Universe and Freelancer:Combat Evolved. With some of the mod team receiving help off some of the best coders Freelancer has ever seen such as lancer Solorus (the giant SSM)and FriendlyFire(Program Expert). We are offering a brand new RPing system which will intrigue and excite people, along with brand new effects and massive systems (200x200km large).

This was the first draft of the UNSC shipyard "Reiling" design.
After A lot of work, I went back and edited a lot of the mesh to make it a more self contained unit.

So far I have spent 4 or 5 hours changing little bits to get a more realistic feel in a UNSC style ship, hopefully I have pulled this off.
Right now that's done, we have some more news, the development team will be having a meeting on the 3rd of May to collaborate and condensate on everything that we have atm, this of course may go terribly wrong due to time zones, but we are hoping it goes very very well.
After this time we will have a good idea of what we have and what we need, which in turn will hopefully give us an idea of when the GvG event shall be.
We are hoping to have the GvG ready by summer time where the UK transition from one year to the year above takes place, which starts in July sometime.
We can not wait for this exciting occurrence to take place, and we hope that you enjoy every moment of the game!

So is it working?
When do you say working, what do you mean?
We have the pre-alpha and we are currently on the later stages of the green vs gold alpha for players to test it.
However Green vs Gold is a closed server and you will therefore need to apply on the forums to join the game.

Is there a way to connect besides Hamachi? Network is full and I'm too cheap to buy Premium.
There is another Hamachi server it's the same as the first but with a two at the end of the name,
However as the server is ran by members of the players it might not be up, so be warned about that.

Hmm are there any thing to do in this mod atm? I just saw a trade line o took forever to use....
to be honest I think open SP is a waste of time. You can just as easily create a lan server and then connect to that and play.
Indeed, we realized this with the Development pre-alpha release, so we are no longer going to make a openSP mod.
I'm looking forward to the Open SP mod for it, looks awesome. I despise multiplayer ._. Too many idiots causing trouble, too much lag.
