Exodus Mod for Crysis Exodus Mod Bi-Weekly Update #4 + Pine Trees! news

Hello everyone, I’m sure that all of you this week have been awaiting our pine tree pack and we apologize for the delay. We spent this past weekend putting the finishing touches onto the trees. Now I would like to give it to you, but first we must show off some new stuff (then of
course you can have it afterwards).

First, let’s start off with some new concept art from our resident artist Poisonist. He has been hard at work creating some pieces that represent what our first episode will look like. We have some drawings of a winter stronghold and a spiritual landmark. We also have some new weapon concepts. These weapons are unique because they are used by higher ranking warriors. During the time period of Exodus, as warriors gained status their weapons became more detailed which acted as a message to everyone around them as to who was in charge.

In our last update we showed off an in-game shot of our hay bales and farm props. This time we want to further show them in their proper environment. In this screenshot we have an area of farmland with our custom hay bales, fences and farming tools.

Now that we’ve encouraged you to read our update we can give you our pine tree pack. We have been working many hours trying to fix all the little bugs to make sure this was release-ready. We’ve hit that point and below is the location you can download our pack. Included in this pack are several trees that are available in several shapes and sizes. Keep in mind this isn’t our final release of the trees, as time goes on we’ll be tweaking them to make them work better so we’ll be releasing updated versions in the future. Our website and forums will keep everyone updated on the progress. I've rambled enough so below is the link for the pine tree pack!

We hope you enjoyed the update and we hope you have fun with the pine trees! Be sure and stop by our website and let us know what you think! In the next week or so we will be providing a tutorial on ways to use the trees as well as how to install them. This will be posted in our forums along with a thread on "Need Help with the Trees?" so please direct all problems to our forums here. We are still looking for new talent as well, in particular if anyone has experience in animation or coding we would love to have you on the team.
