Bloodstone - Release Version 1.0.1.1317
Jun 04, 2008 Full Version 11 commentsThis is the Gold Master version of "Bloodstone - The Journey Home". Eventhough this mod is meant for Episode 1, you can play it without owning Episode...
Bloodstone: The Journey Home is a third person role-playing total conversion of Valve’s Half Life 2 - Episode One, using the Source engine. In this modification, Khrinz, a common farm boy is plunged into an unknown world of magic and deceit, on the brink of an unstoppable invasion by a technologically advanced race.
The player must lead our hero through the mysterious land of Darynia in search of the fabled bloodstone, a powerful gem that has the ability to create portals to other planes of existence, whilst also discovering their innate magical powers, so that they may defend themselves from the sinister and evil creatures of the world.
This power can either be used to fuel mystical and powerful spells of the arcane, or infuse deadly weapons with the force of the elements. As the player grows in experience, more potent spells and abilities are unlocked, to use against the ever increasing number of enemies.
Darynia is a fully realized fantasy world where the player will become immersed in an enriching storyline, driving the player’s actions, and pushing their emotions to the limit.
“It’s not the blood that courses through your veins that defines what type of person you are; it’s the decisions you make, on the journey of life.”
- Nienna, Princess of the Graymir Elves.

i have hl2 ep1 engine on my pc but i couldnt play this one.why?also i have a non-steam hl2 ep1 full version game.Help pleace?
are there any companions in this game?
no, unfortunately that is a feature we couldn't put into the game
Everytime I download this from the three available sources, it keeps saying the .cab inside the package is corrupt. I'm thinking the file is just too big and too far away to have a guaranteed success rate. Perhaps set up a BitTorrent service?
As far as we are aware, nobody had this problem before. It's likely to be a problem on your end.
I don't want to sound like an asshole, but your game makes other games not work on my PC, and to make them work I need to restart my PC. Sorry, but 3/10...
Which games are these? We've not heard this complaint before and the game has had a reasonable amount of downloads already.
All games on my PC.
I'm sorry to hear that, but as I said nobody else reported a problem like this before, so I fear it has got something to do with your specific configuration. Due to no extensive testing on multiple systems, such problems for individual users are not foreseeable.
I can't even play it... I started the game, it started perfectly, I set up graphics, HUD bugged. Then when I started the game the HUD was still buggy. I restarted it, and started the game again, all I saw was a blue screen and a title "Riverside". I restarted it again, now all I get is a black screen at the menu! Help please? P.S. I have Half-Life 2 and Half-Life 2 Episode 1 as well.
