Welcome back on Arrakis, Commander!
We from Thundermods.net announce one of our mods, Dune: Arrakian Wars (DAW for short), which will bring you back onto the desert planet 'Dune'. Based on the last game of the Dune universe 'Emperor - Battle for Dune', DAW will bring back the Dune feeling to your screens, featured with high-end graphics, new gameplay elements and the original music from Emperor.
DAW will feature all three main houses, Atreides, Harkonnen and Ordos and also feature the five famous subhouses Fremen, Guild, Ix, Sardaukar, and Tleilaxu, which will unlike Emperor not chosen until you're ingame.
This and other Gameplay changes will allow DAW to differ from Emperor but also create the good old Dune-feeling.

New screens are awesome!!! Work on it hard guys, I see this is gonna be one sucessful mod. Finally something that will be worth the wait and all the work invovled. / one little question: will it be possible to turn the lights on and off for the vehicles or are they fixed as being always on?
atm the lights are fixed, but turning on and off should be possible
this mod seems to become pure ownage. i hope you will release a first public version soon :D
I know everyone who likes some mod want's to play it as soon as possible, but we're still at the beginning of development. ;)
Do you guys need any help with mapping at all? :}
or can anyone just make maps for the mod and they submit them to you guys?
At this time, only members are able to make maps for our mod, since the new textures and objects are only included in our internal version of DAW. Once Stage 1 is released, everyone is allowed to make maps for DAW (which will be available through moddb.com and thundermods.net).
