Of course the credits goes the most of time to Valve because it's a mod, so Half-Life is a product of Valve...
I can't say I like it much. First of all, you need to get rid of Half-Life 2 content (i.e Headcrab model), because it's illegal. There is also lots of unused/unneccessary stuff from Half-Life's *.pak file. Don't forget to add credits too.

The porting Half-Life 2 stuff to Half-Life engine is illegal.
I don't understand why that would be so.
It is not illegal. If you are using the HL SDK, you are free to use their content. I would probably give credit to Valve for their content though.
