This is a mod that is all about action, non-stop entertainment for a solid 10 minutes. Since most mods set out with expectations that are way beyond the scope of their abilities we thought we would approach the moding scene on a much smaller scale. While at the same time offering a unique and unrelenting experience.
The player is set to rob a bank, once they begin the robbery they are given 10 minutes to do so before the fuzz bum-rushes the bank and the mod comes to a close. Simple, yet, for a first mod feasible.
Side note: The working title of the project has changed from "10 Minute Mod" to "Heist", at least for now, in order to fit more coherently with the direction the mod has shifted towards.

We're doing a massive overhaul of the mod to up the quality of it quite a bit, since after a bit of a review we came to the conclusion that there is a whole bunch more we could put into it. The release date is the same, just an update, and by Monday, new media will be up showcasing some of the new stuff. We're gearing the mod more towards actually robbing a bank, bustin safes, dealing with guards, hostages, getaways, all that jazz.

Sure do there is a big media update planned for the mod which should be up by Monday, pics, vids, the whole-sha-bang.
First of all, I'm looking forward to this mod. It sounds like a neat thing to play if you do it right. Can't wait to play it. Second of all, how are the two mods similar at all? They both have time limits, they both have some mysterious person (the player) robbing a bank, and that's sort of where it ends. Robbing a bank is not an original idea and a time limit certainly isn't an original idea.
Very true. We're all trying to reach the same end, get something under our belt(s) that is fun and shows we can actually begin something and finish it. Sort of black and white but you get my drift I suppose.
Don't worry about. All I said was they were knida simular, Lots of people have to same idea. It happens all the time.
Psymon, while I can't say they are not similar, I can honestly say your mod idea had zero influence in this mod idea. Either way the 10 Minute Mod is at about 50% done, and in a few weeks people can either play it or not, regardless. :)
