Yeah you're right. Is difficult to balance with the limits of the engine. Some mappers exploit these limits so if BHL is exploiting too... the result is the game don't run or some entities don't render. Anyway I'm constantly trying to take advantage of all resources in a more efficient way.
I'm working on some of the opposing force weapons (those that adding make sense in the original campaign like desert eagle, sniper rifle, new melee weapons...). About "Brutal Opposing Force", it would be awesome but there is a lot of features that I don't know how to recreate with mi actual skills (ropes, some creatures, etc.) so it's not in my plans right now
I want to create a new campaign (and give the player the possibility to choose between it or the original maps) and now I'm working in some doom/doom II/quake maps... I don't know yet how the progression of the maps will be...

I think the grenade reload animation delays the arcade gameplay style. That is like the feature of not-automatic reloading, wich I thought before but finally didn't make because of the vanilla gameplay...

No! And I recommend to deactivate the 'hd models' option to avoid mixing the different 'styles'. I like HD models too, so in the future I want to implement them.
I tried to make a 'sprint' key instead of walk (like Doom), but I forgot to finalize it! What do you think about?
Thanks m82sniper. Known 'CTD': i.e. when hornets are killed, or when tripmines (and some explosive crates/barrels) are kicked and kill you. I'm trying to locate the mismatch

Thanks for test it! Well still considerable amount of work to get the whole idea of what must be a good Half-Life gore mod :D I like your ideas and probably try to develop them. New abilitys / weapons / behaviours for all enemies is the goal of future releases.
