Not a good v_model choice.

The hud looks a little rucked, But the mapping of the overall mod looks nice.

Well, Porting to orange box isnt really that hard.

I just wish the resources/models/materials/sounds and what not where actually thrown to a place we can get them, I would love to start on working on this myself :/

Well it depends. If you do in the way crysis did it. And that is...

Force the player to crouch.
Remove the left hand off your current v_model.
Create the next v_model, or.. Second v_model, Its seperate from the one we have currently.
Set the angle markers to the gun where picking up off the floors Position, Minus our position. This gives us the angle.
Play the animation.
Remove the weapon model from the world. and create it again as a c_model. Position and place it onto our second v_model.
Play the retract animation.
After the animation is complete, Give the player that weapon, Or ammo, Then return the other arm to your first v_model.

Its alot easier than it looks.

The animation is fine in my eyes, I see nothing wrong, Its just the timing thats way off.

But he needs to add a timer to the throwing function. It looks a little fake to have the flare be thrown AS hes doing the animation, Not when the animation hits the key pars.
