Well, it's not a veterancy upgrade and only a special projectile for heroic units ^^
Similar to Rockets that turn red when normal units are heroic.
I really like the idea of units receiving special upgrades when reaching next levels. It's just that if I make it for one faction, all factions should be equal and have them too. This is a lot of work and will most likely be hard to balance.
But maybe that could work with very special units, like an "Evolver" Scrin unit or something like that. Or simply a special unit upgrade instead of better statistics when reaching a new level? I could see that working with MoK.
Yep, they are actually identical to normal Pitbulls, only a bit cheaper and with machineguns.

I have pretty much the same opinion. I'm sure that there is an unbelieveable amount of work behind the mod.
For me MO 3.0 feels to restrictive, there are hardly any softcounters and most units require some kind of special unit as counter. in the mod and with the right unit you can utterly smash big armies, it doesn't feel right.
I overall love the design and the unique units. Also I appreciate to see that this mod doesn't have any rough edges at all. All factions are difficult, but they somehow feel very similar... You either got a slow brute attack force (China, HQ Pacific Front), a more versitile army with some perks (EU, USA, Psi Corps, Russia) or a faction with a rather spammy approach (Latins, Scorp Cell).
Btw, great voice acting, really like the Colossus, it reminds me of the Dark Eldar >:D
