Would you mind sharing the complete shader cache? Or is there legal issues preventing this?

Reinstalled the game and mod several times but the initial compilation (with extended black screen on boot and level loading) of shaders always fails for some reason. So they have to be complied in-game which easily triggers crashing. The situation improves on every restart but there is always new shaders to compile so the visuals can break or the game can crash at any time. I'm on the Steam version btw

The mod is great when it works as intended, the official remaster barely has anything on this

EDIT: Nevermind, it turns out it's the included Reshade that causes issues, somehow. Excluding it from the installation solves everything

Does this mod remove already present music or does it only add?

Cause I love the original soundtrack to death and it would be a shame to find out that some my favorites are missing.

What is it this mod does exactly?
All I noticed is that it swaps the color of the clothing and hair for some characters when I tried it. Using ENB series I found to be a way more effective option to greatly enhance the visuals of the game (just make sure to disable Bloom, SSAO).

The Preview pic though as many have already mentioned is hot as hell.

The game won't let me alt+tab with this mod installed, plus it would be nice if the logo vanished a little bit quicker.

Other than that the mod is great. Now if I could only find a texture pack that is compatible with this like in the pictures shown here.

I would so love if you were able to go trough the whole game like this. Great mod! :D (even though I feel the "I do not move out of the way" joke was overused, Agent O-range using it is enough.)

This mod shows a lot of promise as it will actually address the character models. I just hope I will live to see the final release. :P

Just wanted to say that you have done an excellent job with this mod, keep it up! :D

Now if only someone could do something about those character models...

I really enjoy this mod (even though the level design can get confusing sometimes).

I just wonder has this been tested to go trough 100% stealth non lethal from start to finish? Cause I tried to infiltrate the Command Center in the hidden underground Unatco/M12 complex/prison again and again but I eventually gave up and gunned everyone down. What makes is so difficult is that everything is made of glass so there is nowhere to hide and how are you supposed to get passed the MIB guarding the security terminal on the bottom floor?

Also the codes you have added to the Naval Shipyard level could be more clearly written out like this for example.

"A)
*code combination*
B)
*code combination*"

instead of

"A)*code combination*
B)*code combination*"

Cause the rest of the codes in the game are almost always written on their own line or with a least a space if a word or letter precedes it so it took me a little while to realize those lines were codes.

Also in Manhattan the MJ12 sewer does not seem to be always accessible like in the Vanilla game, cause there you find a really good weapon down there during your 2nd or 3rd visit.

And where is the key to the sewer lids after you make your escape after going rouge? After sending out the satellite signals in Hell's Kitchen where the generator used to be or am I just stupid? Cause I couldn't find it and had to make my escape running on the regular and heavily guarded street using cloak and sniping everyone from a distance.

Other than this is an excellent mod that shows a lot of promise, keep up the good work! :)

I really like this mod, makes me use my augs a lot more, the only thing that bothers is that the delay on the health regen is too long even when upgraded. I would prefer a shorter delay until it kicks and instead slower healing.

Forgive me if I come of sounding like a complete *** or something I was just wanna be honest about what I thought about the mod. It does show promise but there were quite a few things I didn't like about it.

There is a bug with the M4 assault rifle, first it shows up as the pistol in the weapon selection menu and when you do pick it up your character hands are purple like there is a texture missing.

While the first person animations are ok, they don't nearly feel as smooth as they do in the original game, this is just me nitpicking though.

I don't know what you have done to the physics but they feel weird as hell, especially when moving boxes and killing bigger enemies. It almost reminds me of the physics from Deus Ex: Invisible War.

While I do love Fallout 3, a lot actually. Using the Fallout 3 music here really does feel out of place, the Half-Life series got a strong enough soundtrack so just use that.

How exactly do you pick and choose what you want in the mod like you mention in the description? Also you should mention to use the hlshd.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/hlshd/hl1/ URL if you just wanna mod HL: Source so you don't need to download over 7 gigabytes of data.

Incompatible with the Enhanced Shaders 2010 mod, which is a damn shame cause I really like how that mod enhances the look of the game (once bloom is disabled). All the characters looks they all are covered in slime (including Gordon) when trying to play with both mods.

There is one thing however that I really, really liked though and that are the new sound effects they sound friggin' awesome. Here you have done an excellent job.

Anyways those are my thoughts
