the weapons was part of an overarching plan to allow people to toggle HD weapon models and vanilla weapon models, I'm still holding out hope its possible.

Hey guys, by Saturday, Mission Patch 23 will be released. In celebration, I will be streaming some gameplay from the beginning of the game and progress through the story discussing the development process of the content shown, and talking to chat. The stream starts on 9/3/2022, at 6PM Eastern Standard Time!

I run DX and TNM right out of the box without issue on Windows 10, Steam or GOG version?

Yeah it was attempted pretty much right after DX2 was released. The whole thing kind of fell apart because I think the team members fell apart. Not really because they couldn't work together, but they just grew apart and stopped working on the mod.

Next update is going to be the OSC patch for the current Mission 20 patch. The page is going to stay a little quiet until I power through and finish this hot fix.

Reminder to everyone that there has been updates to the installer since the first release. This is essentially a public beta test, so we have fixed a multitude of issues submitted by the public.

No problem, I played a game called Subnautica from pretty much day 1 of early access. I had the content and story spoon fed slowly and it honestly ruined the great experience for me. I somewhat prefer people to wait but I can't really come right out and say that otherwise no one would test the individual patches. lol

Note to anyone that has downloaded the installer thus far:

The file has been updated around 3am on June 19th due to testers not reporting a hard lock in the Slums. If you have downloaded prior to the 19th, redownload the installer and run it over where you currently have it installed.

I guarantee a conspiracy type game is going to show up in VR eventually. It is a perfect setting for investigation and manipulation of the world to unearth clues, etc.

I currently plan on three. One is finished and established within the storyline being the widely requested WC Hotel interior. The next two are secret maps that people will have to find on their own!

Yeah, it was a very hard undertaking to figure out how to put entirely new content in TNM. We kind of got pushed into a corner because of the fact that we used professional voice actors that may not even be in the business anymore. So what that means is there's no possible way for us to add additional dialogue to the established characters...

Somehow, we figured out a few ways to bring in new things. It really will just need to be played to see how it is done. Not only that, I will do a similar Developer Commentary like we did with original TNM for the revamp patches.

TNM is unique wherein the setting is so silly you can build in pretty much any direction and the lore can still make sense. It is goofy of course, but because it teeters on the absurd everything feels "right" no matter what.

Is the void between Planets an ocean? Open space with stars and they look like a solar system? Is it sort of a Reboot cartoon scenario with representations of data streams? A giant white void and you just walk from one pedestal to another and press a button to teleport to each City? Who knows, but it can all make sense in the world of TNM.

Yes, most are remade, others simply are modified to make more sense, and have additional content.

I just wanted to remake my maps and release it as sort of a small DLC sort of situation. Turns out a lot of folks in DX circles liked what I was doing and coders, texture artists, and even another level designer showed up to help. So it turned into a total revamp project!

that's ok, are you aware of any normal level transfer commands built into the game prior? I see when I try to load another level it says "must be in the Cordon" most games have some kind of level transfer function... :o
