By the Mello Hippo thing, I meant "The Isness" album. The Mello Hippo Disco Show is a song on that album IIRC.
I'm off the web for a month. Whoa.
I dunno, i had the fullzise picture on my anime folder , and asked someone to resize it.
The sound of PTA is very different from Exciter or anything they've done before. Precious is IMO the worst song of the album, and my favourites are "Suffer Well", "Lilian" and "Macrovision". It's kind of interesting that Dave wrote or co-wrote some of the songs for the album instead of Martin, so I'd reccomend to check it out just for that ;).
Overall I find the album very good, maybe a bit too steady at the moments (behind the wheel > all), but it's still a masterpiece.
I noticed before, but it just came to my mind. I remember some random going (this was in a discussion of nu-metal) 'Slipknot isn't numetal d***head, depeche mode is'. I added grammra as you can see. ;)
Oh yes, it's on the top of my "Top Tracks" on last.fm, and it's probably the most recognizable song & video of The Cure, maybe except Lullaby or Just Like Heaven in US.
Your signature is too long, can you please remove some things to bring it down to a reasonable size.
Yes, but if it comforts you I am mistaken for a girl from behind occasionally. Hair wise that is.
does anyone thing my new avatar looks kinda femenine?
If you want something Cure-ish, pick up:
- Siouxsie and the Banshees (robert was a guitarist in that band)
- Echo & the Bunnymen (pretty similar sound, I like some of their sound)
And also I'd reccomend New Order for something synth-ish, I'm sure you know Blue Monday - it's theirs. The "Substance" CD is the best to get if you don't know them (a wide spectrum of their work is included there).
