Combat flight sim and stealth game maniac. His dream project would be a stealth game set in World War I (the conflict so unrightfully forgotten by most games)...
Great work. SOMA deserves more mods.
Sorry, but even after setting the correct executables, I'm getting constant loading freezes and time outs. Any idea on how to fix this ?
Here's a quick and useful tutorial: Induktio.net
That SWAT 4 wiki also has a lot of helpful installation and modding articles in general.
Using this portrait for my current female character, a member of the Islander tribes. :-)
Two things worth recommending to everyone playing this on 1.011:
Mbrepository.com - install the enhanced version of 1.011 (finished by the devs in December 2009), it's better compatible with this mod than the original 2008 release and adds a few improvements to the base game
Tldmod.github.io - download the latest nightly patch for version 3.3, transfer the patch files into the mod's appropriate folders, copy the patch's latest version of the .dll file into the main Mount and Blade folder (over the older version of .dll, if you need to) and the mod should work well
P.S. The latest patch includes the latest version of the wargs.brf file too, so you don't need that older version I linked to in my previous post.
If anyone's still interested, here's an apparent fix for the crashes that occur during battles involving wargs: Forums.taleworlds.com
Are you still looking for scenario writers ? I suppose I could eventually contribute in this area.
I've tried your game and it's absolutely lovely. :-) I still need to learn the ropes of trading, but other than that, I really like what I see so far. Keep it up, you're a very talented team.
I love it. :-) It's remarkable that this is nearly 10 years old, but still holds up so well even throughout the latest, standalone version of the game. Some of the newer tracks added since the times of the old releases are missing in this pack, but it's still fairly complete.
Honestly, this game was a nice surprise when I stumbled upon it. I've yet to play it all that much, but I mostly like what I see. Keep up the effort guys, I've even voted for your little project in the IndieDB Awards. Good luck with continuing the development. :-)
