Hey, whats up guys? Just a little about myself: -I'm enlisting this month (August, 2011) in the U.S. Army Rangers. -I love to excercise, surf, play games, and hang with friends. -I enjoy sketching, writing, doing anything creative with my hands. That's pretty much it at the moment. Feel free to throw a friend request my way if you wanna know more, or just wanna play some games.

This looks great! I'm obsessed with future-space themed games. This one hits home. The weapon design is unique, but at the same time it reminds me of PlanetSide (which is an awesome thing.)

Pledged my condolences, because I've been waiting for this game to come out since it said it was going to release back in 2007-2008. My excitement has finally died along with the hype I had for this game. But hey, if it ever does get done and released, then you'll have my donation for whatever the game will cost when I buy it.

I think I'm pretty content with feeling that this mod is never going to have a release. It's been 3 years since they said it would release back in '09, then again in 2010. I don't even think I'll get excited when/if this ever DOES come out because of the hype state it had me in for the past 3 years.

Honestly, other than the weapon models I pointed out to you on their respective pictures, this mod looks absolutely amazing. The only reason I would go out of my way to correct you on those weapons is because I REALLY want to play this mod. Until then, my favorite Vietnam era game is Battlefield: Vietnam (2004 game, NOT BC2 Vietnam ********)

I'm sorry, I forgot to add in that some SF units (Green Berret mostly) were issued the XM177/CAR-15 carbine rifle that allowed for the attachment of the Colt XM148/CGL-4 grenade launcher (nicknamed "the bitch")

Also, this model is wrong as well, as the Vietcong rarely used the AK-47. Their main small arm of abundance was the AKM(an upgraded, slightly shorter version of AK-47 developed in the 1950's). Most commonly, the AKMS was used by NVA soldiers.

Neither did the M16A2 in the '80s. The first variant of the M203 series required the removal of the bottom of the handguard in order to be attached (which could not be done with the M16A1, as it had a fixed triangular handguard)

ZaliaS Mar 15 2012, 3:40pm replied:

That model is of the M16A2 with the underbarrel M203 grenade launcher, not seen in service until the Golf War (late 1980's). The special forces you are talking about were the US Army Rangers (Known as the LRRP or LRP units during the conflict) and they were issued the XM16E1 commercial AR-15. The only M16 variant or similar at that time that could use M203 attachment was the Canadian C7, which was NOT available in the Vietnam Conflict). The M16 used in this era was the M16A1 fully automatic assault rifle with a 20 round Stanag magazine

ZaliaS Mar 9 2012, 11:24am replied:

And what about USD? 10-15 Euros is about $20-25 US Dollars, and I think that's a little expensive for an indie game. Unless Steam is going to even out the currency exchange rate and may that equivalent to $10-15 USD also.
