Currently working on a Goldeneye inspired map for CRYSIS featuring 'dam', 'facility', and 'runway', in addition to a light MP version of 'facility'. I don't have any profiles up, though I have some infrequent updates just in my profile and at (SP Maps/Work In Progress/dam-facility-runway). Cheers

As for me, well I'm not really doing all that much modding related. I was making a crysis map/mod based on GE64 a while back, but I kinda hit a point which I couldn't achieve what I wanted without taking everything to a level that I wasn't committed enough to go. If that makes any sense at all, so yeah I bailed :P .

There is absolutely no instruction whatsoever aside from the installation notes. I'm not really sure what you can do. :S

I haven't been at it much lately. Kinda hit a do or die wall; modeling. I either have to properly learn to model or scrap a great deal of this map if not all of it. :( I'm getting back into it and things are on the up and up so who knows eh. Thanks for the interest m8.

What else am I supposed to base my impressions on? :P Just playin'. Hey don't get me wrong; I am fully aware what I played wasn't finished and all that. I was just trying to give some feedback... ya know to help give feedback on issues which may or may not still be prevalent in the final version.

Anyway, this is all just my humble opinion. Worst case scenario you know what one guy doesn't like about an old alpha that is nothing like the final build. LOL Anyway, tracking. ;)

Cool idea, looks nice, plays poorly. The gameplay mechanics really need rebalancing [based on what I've experienced with the demo]. The enemies should be a bit less tough imo. Running into a small room with three guys you have to shoot five times each only to be killed by the door (lol) is just unsettling. There are other problems, but nothing major/notworkaroundable.

That all said, I am really looking forward to the finished version of this mod. Custom sounds are going to be a good addition, and a new hud would be pretty rad. Anyway, best of luck. ;)

Someone really should make a bloody Duke Nukem mod for the love of all things sacred. Especially with the unfortunate demise of DNF. Maybe if I ever finish my goldeneye level I'll make something up that adds Duke quotes when you kill enemies if that is even possible. I think it might able to be done in Crysis with flowgraphs. I dunno I'm not really a modder, so I'm kind of out of my element when it comes to stuff like this.

Lighting looks a tad on the dark side, but that is totally justifiable I suppose. Kinda reminds me of splinter cell with the super black shadows everywhere.

Hey Digital Chaos, I've seen you around here a couple of times. The answer to that question is simply the name of this mod. Everyone knows what Halo is and few know what your mod is. I wouldn't take offense to that fact if I was you. If you take a turd and say it kinda looks like Virgin Mary people will naturally look no matter how silly the concept may sound. Just to set this straight; change the mod name, add 'spiritual successor of ODST' or something of the like and you'll be set. Walk the line; don't rip any assets, simply make some original stuff that looks halo(ish). If you do this right you won't get so much hostility. That is just common sense. It's not like the Halo universe is anything remotely close to original anyway.

OK I'm confused; there is episode 1 (Crysis prequel), and then levels 5, and 6 (which apparently don't have any story), and now there's this "Noname Island 2". I'm going by crymod's DB so maybe I'm missing something posted elsewhere. In any case I guess it would be most logical to assume giving 5, and 6 have no story; this is a continuation of Episode 1.
