Hey all, I'm the current Tyranid Mod administrator. Just so's you know, I don't check my personal page regularly so I am liable to miss any comments you leave me here. Not sure why it's acting quite like that. I'd suggest checking the Tyranids AI Control Panel shortcut in your Soulstorm folder and having a bit of a tinker.

The HQ shouldn't be invisible, but the builder should be. Check the button at the top middle of the bottom UI bar.

Our coder's advice is to uninstall and reinstall the mod, as this may be remnant behaviour from a previous version of the mod or possibly something from another mod interacting with out stuff. Regardless, uninstall/reinstall should purge any changes to Tyranid Mod files and restore the standard building behaviours.

It's a bug because it's not meant to happen - doesn't really matter how many buildings it applies to, although that definitely helps us narrow down what's causing it. :P

Now with what you've told me the most important question is this: Are you playing with or without the hotfix?

Yeah, that's basically the same location as where I have it installed (mine's on my D: drive, but otherwise the same) and the installer should pick that up fine. Check the Game Manager in Soulstorm, it should be listed there.

If it's installed to the right location it should show up automatically.

Are you using a Steam version of Soulstorm or a disc-installed version?

You'll need to make sure there's a "tyranids.module" file in your Soulstorm folder. If that's missing, the Tyranid Mod won't show up in the list and GDM won't work.
