This game is amazing. I played it at night, and I must admit it worked pretty well ;). I'm looking forward to play the second one.

You can save in special rooms called "Save Room". You can also use a Compact Disc to save at any moment during the game, but be careful, you won't have a lot of them.

I don't think so. But it makes no difference to play on Desura or on Steam, in my opinion. Unless you're an "achievement" addict ;).
