this is a photoshopped BF3 poster. EA didn't make this.

I enjoyed the game a lot so i wouldn't say that it is a flop. Sure i miss the AI bots and Mod support more than anything, but it is still a great game despite its shortcomings.

In the end everyone has his own opinions and we have to respect that. In other words: don't argue.

I was hoping for 2143.

Sure, the graphics look a bit better and the mission looked good, but BF4 is another modern shooter. What the series needs is a change of setting. Not new guns and maps or a few new features.

this reminds me of what i did once in Red Alert 2 when i was a kid. I filled literally half the map with G.I. troops. there was not even space for even one of them to move. hahaha

We will have to wait and see how it works out. The game is still a long way off. This change may actually turn out to be a positive one. Or they may scrap this feature.

I would assume that due to the larger size of power plants in C&C games compared to protos in SC, there would be building placement issues if the power range was as small. I expect the range to be much larger than that of SC. Possibly big enough to cover 1/4 to 1/3 of your average base.

any plane will do that without a proper runway in reality. a small metal piece on the runway can crash it. that is why before every takeoff, a car is sent to quickly check the runway for things that may have fallen off other planes.

One advantage of Free to Play is that EA will only get money from satisfied customers. In other words they will either listen to the fans more, or they will simply fail.

As long as I get single player (even if paid) and a decent amount of FREE units to start with, i will be happy. And i want to be able to play SP OFFLINE. i hope im not too optimistic

Actually. the multiplayer game will be free to play.

They may be considering paid singleplayer addons for the future. Therefore we will have a full game. If we all ask for it they will definitely give it to us. Remember, if they go free to play, they will only get our money if we are satisfied, unlike the standard game sale where they get the money first and ignore the fans later. In addition, the addons all together may be bundled later on and we may be able to pay less for all of them. For example in BF3 premium is $45. but all the addons together are $60 i think.

therefore if there is enough demand, we will get a full game with the multiplayer part being free.

the arab conquest would explain why many of them speak arabic. interesting.
and i think i did confuse bedouins and berbers.

hmm. interesting. i thought this was going to be some kind of monthly subscription. but it being a one time payment and being cheaper than all dlc's together.

i probably wont buy it because there are so many other games that i want. but it may be worth it for someone who loves this game a lot and wants more out of it.

i just updated BF3 so i can play for the first time in months. is it just me or did they improve optimization? i used to play on a pretty low resolution to get it playable (im on a laptop so i play on low). but now i get even higher fps at max resolution.

nope, they are arabs. i think Berbers are Arab nomads who live in the deserts in those countries. but i could be wrong.

red faction guerrilla had awesome destruction. its not battlefield. but it is a good example of how physics can be used and how everything can be destructible.

+1 for Sidi Power Plant. probably the best map to add in an RTS. good choice.
